I'm too lazy to read the entire 1696 pages of posts, but has anyone mentioned how he attacked one of his own sub-fandoms?
The name is Yandere Simulator Fanon Wiki, and not a lot of people mention it. Basically he joined the Wiki and broke the rules and was surprised when he got in trouble.

The best part is that, when the admins did remove the posts after Alex pulled a Karen, they pointed out the fact that, when you remove a harassing comment from your wall, you now have no evidence that the harassment happened.

My word he does not know how to get to the point...I mean I knew this already, but sometimes I forget just how bad he is when it comes to rant posts.

I get being upset and posting a ranty comment. Heck I tend to make long-winded comments too (though no where near as long as his, but still longer than they should be), but when it comes to your own fandom especially he needs to wait until he's calmed down and ommitted at least half of that or reworded it to be shorter.

That makes sense. I was kinda confused as to why they wouldn't have let him delete comments from his page but that does make sense. I will agree with the dev here though that if this is the case then there needs to be a report button.

Alex is a drama queen so I expect that he's lying but do you have these "harassing comments and post" from admins he allegedly says happened?

New blog post, including a bunch of screenshots with Raibaru & what I assume is Amai's cutscene.
Interestingly he also included a development roadmap of the future of the game.

In practice, knowing his behavior, he'll be stuck at the pre-Osana checklist. Didn't he have a rejection cutscene for Osana but still refuse to consider her complete?

That was back in November 2017. She could have been essentially done by then but he insisted on a befriend/betray elimination method for her as well. And THEN he insisted on a bodyguard in the form of Raibaru.

In his defense, the befriend/betray method has been planned since at least 2016, but he got so sidetracked that he probably should have just removed it, at least for Osana

Early access? Well, now even if he’ll get money from Kickstarter, game 99% will be in eternal early access.
I just thought he’ll be on honest man, and will present final game in one peace after it’s done.

The game stresses him out due to all the gremlins and haters but OH those SWEET SWEET patreon bux and the praise his fanbase of tweens throw to their glorious DevPai

Geez, its already September. We're 4 months from 2020, approaching 6 years of development, and Osana is stil not finished. I wonder if hell be able to keep this up for another year..

i mean, sometimes it ok to spent more time on making a game then you expected. Expecially when it's an indie.
What scares me, is that his life hasn't changed for 6 years. When you follow some devs, while making a game they date, hang out with friends, marry and have children, spend free time on education etc.
Alex still lives with parents, no gf and AnimeExpo once a year is an only public convention he attends. And he paints it as a fucking sacrifice. 'boo-hoo i have no social life because of a game' - 30+ y.o. man.

Yeah I agree. I honestly think if he could spend free time doing about anything other than the game the game would have been getting done a lot faster. And this is going under the assumption he really does want to finish the game. College students get more work done if they manage to find a balance between school and social. It gives you a buffer where you can reset and not worry or focus on whatever project you have to work on, then once it's time to get work done you do a lot more because you're more motivated. I'm honestly pretty concerned about him if he really does spend all of his time locked up in his room in his parents basement. And those videos where he talked about his mental health and depression and all that? I can believe it. People who spend too much time on the internet tend to be more likely to have depression.

My thoughts still haven't changed. He needs to disappear from the internet and work on his game, then come back once it's ready to be shared. The hype would be a lot bigger and he wouldn't be focusing on the people who really are just sending him constant hate which would help improve his mental state.

That roadmap has got to be the most optimistic thing I've seen in quite some time. "Finally raising an actual budget"? Then what the fuck was his Patreon for? That's been a not insignificant amount of money for someone with minimal expenses. If there had been a crowdfunding campaign maybe four years ago it would've worked, but at this point I don't think much can be expected from it.

EvaXephon is probably regretting being so bloody slow at game development as the roadmap also states Steam Early Access instead of Tons of Money from Epic Exclusivity Deal. No way he'll have anything near a finished game by the time that gravy train comes to an end.

Yes, such isolation sure will cause depression in any person. And, since he was home-schooled, no doubt he lacks social skills. Yet, his mental health is only in his hands. Anti-depressants and therapy can give you an energy\motivation boost (And we know he has money for good medical help), but it's your job to catch a momentum and start living a life.

I will scream like a bitch if yansim will become an epic exclusive. Kinda a great deal for Tim Sweeney - yansim target audience are kids, who are also target audience for fortnite.

I don't see that happening ever because because that would require the game to be approaching a state of completion. This thread demonstrates how and why that will likely never occur. Plus Epic might eventually stop throwing money at people for exclusivity deals. Maybe...

And if the impossible occurred and somehow the game were completed and became an Epic exclusive that the Fortnite kiddie community lapped up, I don't like it would be available for very long. Moral guardians and busybodies may be ignorant or confused by Fortnite (like me; I think it's a pretty subpar third-person shooter), but "be a schoolgirl and murder all of your classmates" seems like the kind of thing that would get them hot and bothered in short order. Steam may be so big it rarely gives a shit, but I bet someone at Epic would ask if putting YandereSimulator on the Epic Store would likely lead to the kind of PR fiasco they really don't want.

I don't disagree, though for me its more in an objective sense. In the context of YandereSim, I didn't at all expect him to be completely finished by this point, but it seems like the first rival would've been done. Then again, the scope of the game has also heavily expanded, which is another thing on its own.

Honestly, I feel like EvaXephon is just adding useless features to just put off Osana as much as possible to keep the impression that Osana is being worked on & the game too while not putting in the effort to make all the rivals. It keeps the money in flow & gets the lil kiddes excited. If EvaXephon were to put out Osana, that means he forced into a state where he now has to focus on actually finishing the game & the rivals. He can't add more useless things now that he isn't in beta, sorting everything out phase. Plus, I remember he said that he will have a kickstarter for the game once Osana is out, so he will have the pressure of backers on him to actually finish it.

Yansim is his only link to fame, it's a good premise but how is EvaXephon going to make another game without losing his fanbase, since its pretty much filled with little kiddie edgelords. His past works didn't go well, he's a bad coder & he'll probably end up as a one hit wonder. So it's kinda understandable for him to keep prolonging the game just so he can keep that fame. EvaXephon should just start getting out more & learn more about coding so he can keep that fame & make himself be better. But that would never happen, just like Yansim's completion.

Just play & support Watashi no mono, its a way better yandere game (plus it started out as a yansim fangame), the dev is on break now tho.

It's that whole thing of "Do you separate the art from the artist?". The artist may be a horrible person, but the art they make is really great. In this case the argument is that the concept he has is great, even if most, if not all of us will agree the product itself isn't.
But here's the problem: it's not even his concept. 4chan's videogames board (/v/) came up with it. Alex even admits being "inspired" by a post on "an anonymous image board".

If any old fans who know of the drama are still in support of the game it's probably because they want the art to be great, so theyre willing to overlook everything else.

Either that or they are gullible and will believe what he says despite the evidence.
Why not? When I found out who Dan Harmon is, his subpar cartoon turned into fan fiction of an alcoholic with overblown ego. As for Alex, it's nearly impossible to separate one from another. It's buggy, because it's creator is a shitty programmer. It's edgy, because it's creator is a manchild. It's unrealistic, because it's creator is a shut in. And it's almost 6 years in a fucking development and not nearly finished, because he doesn't know what the fuck is he doing.

Hello Kiwifarms!

It's me Sleep or GlitchCloud as you guys know me by. I think it's time to bury the hatchet on this thing for me so I'm gonna be covering absolutely everything I can here. This will include information I have and haven't been so vocal about in the past with me admitting up to some mistakes and maybe giving some closure about stuff. I'm gonna start with my experience on the project, getting involved with the drama around the game, and where I am now. I will also be telling absolutely every bit of information I know about the project from the other people I have worked with on the project and from Alex himself. I have signed no documents or agreed to any terms with him so I'm gonna go wild.

In early 2018 I had finished work on the cartoon "Guild Breakers" for the animator MattyBurritoMB on youtube and was on the hunt for work. I had learned of the opportunity Alex was offering with the volunteering for the project. Ihad sent him an email and some demos of my work and he had responded within hours. I was immediately put onto the project and my work started. He sent me some very vague and weirdly organized instructions on the way he wanted the tracks to sound. Here's the directions.

He set no deadline and I had decided to approach the rock song. This eventually became the now patched out version of the track that band plays around 3 in the music room. This track took around 5 months to get to a point he wanted due to his unclear instructions and somewhat inconsistent contact schedule. In the meantime I got involved in some drama after I kept seeing this YandereDatadigger individual kept commenting on my youtube posts. I at the time was on the side of YandereDev as I had thought a fair bit of the criticism to be lacking information and some sides of the story. I eventually had decided to organize a debate with her as a representative of YandereDev. This is where the screenshots of her saying all that shit about the LGBT community and shit came from. After this I just got in some weird ass back and fourth beef with her where i was just egging her on like some child and she kept responding. Eventually I was linked to someone named COWS from the youtuber Manga Kammen as I was looking for someone to cover her. I personally did not feel like the information she was spewing was of any value and she was given a platform to just spew lies. I befriended COWS and we made the series on Digger using the screenshots and many of her own youtube comments and videos against her and her points. This caused the drama to get more toxic and horrible in the community. During this time dev had made me aware of the noe famous gremlin video he was making and I had some discussion with him on how dehumanizing critics kinda makes him look like a retard. Of course he didn't listen and stuff between me and hin changed. As i grew to learn with the people from kiwifarms and the critical reddits of him I started asking more questions. Soon I was asked about how much he had spent on the reddit and i decided to ask him myself. I got a vague response and posted the screenshot online. He had learned i had posted this screenshot and cut ties with me while banning me from all the forums and discords he had made. He had removed my song and replaced it with a inferior ripoff. I had contact with one of his mods and threatened to sue or speak out on him if he had not removed all my work. Most of my work is gone from the project but some still lies. I think of it as a giant fuck you to him. I have moved on from the drama mostly and am just here to see what's going on.

I do though have people in the inside telling me some of the stuff he has planned. I know about the anime intro he had planned and the early 2019 plans he initially had for Osana. I know about the drama with him and the modeler for the new completely original base model. Alex has 2 years max before he drops the project for good and runs with the money. He planned a kickstarter to gain even more money to make up for the wasted development funding he got through patreon. This game is as good as dead and the dude now has a normal job. Let this man's game be a tale of how not to make a indie game. I thank this project for helping me be boosted into other projects and its help it provides when applying for other projects. I hope the see all the artists who put so much time into this project get the chances i got.

This drama has been fun to watch and I'm happy more people are learning about this shitfest.
