Honestly; I can't help but think that if the accused that started this chain reaction of sorts last week wasn't Quinn, people would be a tad more unanimous in denouncing Holowka and that he'd be a bit of a lolcow in the making. It would have made more people focus on his past, as Benson's post does seem to show that there have been quite a few people that Holowka hurt in some way; though until they themselves come forward, a lot of what Benson wrote in his medium post is just his word, regardless of how credible he is.
But because of the fact that it was Quinn (whether she should be believed or not on this issue is besides the point, though in my personal opinion, I do believe her) who made the accusations of emotional manipulation and abuse (not sexual, at least if I remember reading the thread correctly. Damn media for making that narrative); now so much of the focus is on Quinn herself because of her *ahem* colorful and checkered history. Still, it's disheartening that Holowka committed suicide, and wasn't able to get the adequate levels of help he desperately needed.
There are other "accusers" aren't there? Of course its people like Bethany and Scott trying to claim Alec abused them too from what I've seen but if you got links to some of the others post em.
The funny thing is I think this is the only time Quinn was "honest" with her accusation. She admits in the begining of her accusation the reason she was doing it was cause another friend of hers did it and she wanted in on the band wagon. She never says she was raped. She never says she was physically abused other than the sex stuff that she never says she did not consent to. The only thing she does is change the framing of her relationship by lowering the standard of "abuse" and "Sexual abuse." It's taking yarns of a real shitty relationship and re spinning them to be the victim narrative you want. I also think she genuinely didn't want him to kill himself.
The funniest thing of all this is Quinn is the person who was least out for blood with Alec. All her beta orbiters and friends being her personal army are the ones who did the most damage. All she wanted was attention and pity for her story.
After reading Scotts posts and Bethany's tweets I actually think they are far more responsible. I don't mean just the partnership desolving either. Scott spent years (after Alec fixed himself and helped Scott from the gutter) talking shit behind his back, telling people not to work with Alec, airing out Alec's personal issues, and taking credit for what honestly seems like mostly Alec's work. I wouldn't be surprised to learn Scott tried to coordinate all the "victims" speaking up at once, knowing exactly which one would be the death blow to the guy he witnessed as suicidal first hand.
As for Alec being a lolcow, read his old tweets. He doesn't really sperg, he keeps kinda to himself, and he keeps replies short. Even when talking shit about Zoe he kept it at "been there, done that, never wanna do that again" and "she's a pathalogical liar". Not exactly hot takes. His hottest take on Drumpf was "It'd be cool if Trump got shot and died".
Even when he gets wordy like in the FB posts we've seen, its nothing you wouldn't see from a high school seniors blog. He's not very funny, he stays private, he's short and measured in most interaction, the only lolcow thing about him was the company he kept. I guess his sexual proclivities too, but we only recently learned how he repurposes women as nintendo power gloves, and honestly thats kinda Alpha as fuck.
