TBH I don't have an answer to that at all. Either way, it was definitely sloppy or negligent work by Ty, considering he didn't *need* the affidavits. He also very easily could have, and should have, had the 3 parties notarize their affidavits on their own, even if he or others at BHBH helped draft the affidavits.

He was negligent because he is too smart. It happens all the time. Not wise, just smart.

He knew that in this case the two parties who might get hurt were either a notary or a client. So he didn't expect the defendants to complain about it at all.

What is the point of notarization here? Only that there was a guarantee that it was this person who signed it. That his identity is verified. And at this stage the procedure does not really require it. Specifically, this form of confirmation.

Moreover, it is obvious that Vic and Chuck and Chris will be summoned to court for cross-examination in the future.

I believe because she's the only one who isn't a US resident. Iirc she lives in Japan.
Maybe that played a part, as hers was the only unsworn. Not sure.

That's what makes it confusing. According to Nick (if I'm understanding correctly) unsworn testimony would have sufficed. So there's no reason for him to intentionally try to "cheat" notarized documents into his work. Also given the fact that apparently remote notary does exist in Texas (again, if I'm understanding correctly), then perhaps that would explain things.

Regardless I don't think this will impact the case outright. It might knock him down a peg in the eyes of the judge, but Lemoine's response will even that out.

I believe there's some way to get a twitter user GUID from the API and we can confirm it that way, but it seems like a lock.

Also, if you look at the archive.li search, you see archives from 2014 to 2016 on Chris24_Sabat:

He probably renamed his account sometime in 2016. Unless he went back and opened a second account that was chris24_sabat, the chris24_sabat account has been dead for almost 3 years.

I took a bit of a dive into this to help you out.

Chris Sabat's @voiceofvegeta account is Twitter ID 35425166, I tried to use a trick to see if I could get any previous account names associated with it but it didn't work and I could find no references online to any PM links from or to @Chris24_Sabaty hiding in forums..

I then tried doing a reverse conversational look up (searching twitter for the text of an old archived tweet in twitter to see if there is a matching one on his current time line).



As you can see the search returned a positive match. The difference in time code is due to differences in location when looked up (Pacific vs Eastern), the difference in likes is due to people deleting or changing user names.

So you were 100% correct when you guessed that he changed the user name of his @Chris24_Sabat account to @voiceofvegeta.

Regardless I don't think this will impact the case outright. It might knock him down a peg in the eyes of the judge, but Lemoine's response will even that out.

I will be in the courtroom, this should be interesting, finally get to see the mosquito king, casey, volney and sam, who knows perhaps the defendants will make an appearance.
