Is it? Isn't Funimation's whole defense that he wasn't fired because of the investigation, because the investigation didn't find evidence of harassment, so they couldn't have meant to tweet out that they fired him because of finding he harassed people in his investigation? They don't seem very clear on what got him fired. Just that the accusations were 'credible', but definitely not harassment because they didn't say that, and then they fired him incorrectly despite the investigation not turning up harrassment. I guess they just fire anyone they end up having an investigation into?

That's so pointless, though. Only Vic could pursue him for that. Vic could say "I didn't do that. I didn't say that. You lied.", right? It's like signing for pizza as the cardholder even if you're not them. Did you technically forge the signature? Sure. Does anyone care? Not if the cardholder told you to do it because they were too lazy to do it themselves, and never turns around and says 'BUT WAIT! I DIDN'T SIGN THAT!'

What I mean is, even if Ty forged it for some reason, if the people he impersonates never say that he did so, and instead stand by those signatures as theirs, exactly who is damaged and who is going to care?

I find it fascinating that they think Vic is so libel-proof that literally getting a social media mob to try to get a hashtag trending about him raping little kids can't hurt him, but the most minor of perceived 'blunders' by his legal team utterly destroys him. Which is it? Is his image so fragile that minor comments like 'I think his sexual habits are shameful' ruin him, or so bulletproof that 'He rapes underage fans on the regular' can't do anything to him?

The thing is it doesn't matter to them, they have made up their mind, and they going to try to sqaure peg a round hole even if it means trying all the other shapes as well.

That’s probably our biggest fault. We should’ve (and I think many here have) stopped believing these people have any intellectual integrity and consistency.

I've been following for around 1300-ish pages and the one thing I've learned is that team Lemon will always surprise you with how stupid they can be. It's impressive in a terrible sort of way.

I thought Funimation's defense was he both was and was not fired because of the investigation, depending on the nuclear decay of the case at that moment.
