So this is very similar to the Yaniv situation in many respects. I have to say I really do sympathize with the RCMP
with the ways Canada has become a liberal minefield ,
(one step in the wrong place and BOOOM it's lawsuit and HRC Tribunal or worse.)
My point is, thst RCMP is therefore buried in "stacks and stacks of cyber paperwork" and hence, things move very slowly in situations like these.
For instance the Jonathan Yaniv thing would have blown sky high and that pedo dude would have been decimated in a matter of weeks if this happened here in America out in public like he's been.

Sorry, I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do or not to do. Part of the reason why this happened is because a whole lot of people decided that defending womenfolk as a whole

I don't usually leave the LTG thread, but this recent ZQ situation has been in the back of my head since it was reported.
To start, I do not care about the #metoo movement, however I am all for those that have been abused getting legal help, as well as offenders facing deserved prosecution.

It is immensely upsetting that this situation could even go unpunished for multiple reasons.
There are systems set up for this exact thing for a reason. The ONLY reason to take this to Twitter is for attention.
It is so sickening to see that when given a platform, society will happily sidestep the judiciary process and become a lynch mob; and all of it will be excused because public opinion will already be swayed by a one sided narrative.
And despite whether Holowka committed these crimes or not, he was a human being that was born, learned, and struggled just like anybody else. He deserved a trial and he deserved the right to defend himself.
The fact that he killed himself should be considered a tremendous loss, not just for his family, but for his potential victims. If it does turn out that he was guilty, they will never get to see justice for the crimes that he committed. And to add insult to injury; the narrative now gets to be controlled by this professional victim.

I sincerely pray that tomorrow will be a better day for everyone, because at the end of the day nobody won.
