so i think phil keeps bringing up the planetjeff and jasper thing to bait trolls into tipping because at every turn when i forgot about it, he manages to say "oh btw the jeff and i didn't coordinate it or he didn't charge back" (which i never heard)

The short version is that jeff showed up at the end of the Jasper reveal stream, after $1000 had already been raised, tipped $1000, and said something like "Sorry I'm late." Naturally, given that Phil kept talking about how he had a good feeling and shit like that, and the fact that Phil didn't seem particularly surprised to get the $1000 tip (which would make most people quite surprised), people here and elsewhere figure that Jeff probably told Phil he was going to do the tip.

He said yesterday that he HAD to overdraft or else his electricity would get cut off. That's provably either a lie or a complete misinformation on his part. It is literally illegal for a utility company in the state of Washington to cut off his electricity if he is a few days late.

Blah, blah, TL;DR - Basically he has eight days AFTER receiving the written disconnection notice to pay his bill unless he's literally doing something illegal with the electricity. And from a pratical standpoint, the electric company isn't sending him a notice the day his bill becomes late.

I think what you're leaving out of your analysis is that Phil is deep in the hole with the electric company. There was an incident a while back where Phil accidentally paid his electric bill twice, and that meant the money was just "lost forever". The only way this would make sense is if he has a huge iceberg of back debt to them and a payment plan, and any extra payments go right to paying it down.

The section you're looking for in that law is:

(2) Utility-directed without notice or without further notice. The utility may discontinue service without notice or without further notice when:
(...)
(e) The customer has not kept any agreed-upon payment arrangement for payment of a delinquent balance after the utility has issued appropriate notice as described in subsection (6) of this section

If they've already sent him a notice and put him on a payment plan, they can pull the plug at any time if he then fails to keep the payment arrangement.

Haven't been on the farms recently, but damn phil finds a way to rope any sensible human being into his carinval off wheel chair symbols and freaks. I find it funny phil mention this week or the previous week how he chooses games that he THINKS will do well on twitch yet skipped Monster hunter world and the dlc expansion plus fire emblme 3 houses, maybe phil is scared to play rpgs cause he might have to THINK (although he would just get carried through mhw and fe3h by chat or players who would join his private missions in mhw.)

Actually I think this was some speculation on my part. The original bit about "double paying" bills was here:

But it wasn't specified which ones. I assumed it was the power company because pretty much no one would extend credit to Phil unless there was some sort of law saying they had to give him a payment plan.
I still think that's the most likely scenario, but it's not backed up by solid evidence.

Do you ironically watch his actual streams? I don't understand how / why people do that. At least if you watch tractor restsreams they either edit that shit down or do something funny with it. This throat clearing bullshit has been brought up quite a bit in this thread. It makes me think people are watching his raw stream. Seriously, why suffer like this.

I could never, ever watch one of his actual streams. His content is only consumable if it's through a tractor filter. I heard the obnoxious throat clearing thing like 2-3 times, and one was in a video that was made just to point it out.

If you watch Tevin's restream you might as well just be watching DSP's raw stream. How many hours would you piss away watching Tevin watch DSP? It's a time issue, is what I'm getting at. Tractors slice up and condense the mind-numbingly boring DSP stream into palatable videos with decent lengths.

Plus the few Tevin streams I've seen, he actually EXTENDS the video by pausing/talking/responding to donations.

I don't see a big difference between pissing away free time (for my own entertainment mind you) watching Tevin restream DSP while I'm at work and pissing away free time documenting it all and commenting on it here on the Farms. Either way you cut it we're all pissing away time on DSP. I get what you're saying though, but I'm pretty good at time management and I have an instinct for when something goes from entertainment to a timesink.
