All we have to go on is that Digi wanted to move out of Rochester ASAP and only moved their to live with May as quickly as possible, but didn't care about the city or area. He also kept pushing her to quit her job and drop out of college since it isn't important in order to work for him and in another video he made it seem like he likes it when people have to rely solely on him, thus it is safe to assume he wanted to do this in order for May to always be around him and rely on him financially and also in terms of work.

Not to mention Digi intended on doing that "How They Marketed" series of videos, but considers him just plugging the PCP members' videos at the end of his videos as viable marketing.
Oh god, that reminds me of the video he did telling artists how to be successful and market their stuff, which basically boiled down to collaborate with people (Bigger people if you could) and no joke, hire cosplayers to cosplay as your characters. It was genuinely baffling how bad that video was.
It's almost as if Digi has no idea what he's talking about and is borderline incompetent at selling his own shit.

I've tried a few of his videos and i could barely get past the first few minutes of each one i've seen.
Digi likes him because he sucks Digi good through his jorts. Whether that's literal or metaphorical I'll leave to you to figure out.
I think a lot of it comes from the Brony videos. His Horseshoe Finale video is still talked about and praised within the pony community plus his entire pony "analysis" stuff which garnered him a lot of attention. Digi has stated you can watch those videos without caring about MLP, but I damn near went braindead trying to take it seriously. A lot of his actual good work whether funny or interesting he has either privated or deleted on his channel and his vlog style videos which also most are now privated are the kind of content Digi wanted to make on After Dark before pretty much giving up on the idea.
