It's weird how so much of KV can't seem to comprehend the concept that Nick would recommend Ty without there being some direct financial benefit in it for himself. The concept of sending business to a family friend simply to help out a family friend is apparently just as much beyond their grasp as the concept that Nick recommended Ty because Nick thinks Ty is a good lawyer who could help Vic. I'm not sure if that speaks to an inability to understand altruism on their part, or to a lack of friends who they would help out without expecting compensation.

I expect it's pretty much the same projection we've seen all along - they would never recommend anyone without getting something out of it themselves, so why would anyone else?

I can say that Vic never ever wanted to have to litigate, but feels like he was given no choice. Ty has definitely been criticized unfairly - mostly because the general public is speculating w/o all the facts. Vic is def still Team Ty, with no delusions that he isn't also human.

I think you are underselling how many people actually have confidence in Ty. Don't let Twitter and even KF be judgement of the overall consensus. People are morons and quick to judge. Just have a bit of faith and keep moving forward. Negativity and worry often cause more issues than help. Things didn't go the way as planned. Most important thing is to learn and do better.

Also good thing Vic is sticking with Ty. If he didn't, I would've broken into his house and stolen that Enterprise.

I don't think it was even that it was to help Ty or that this was any influence. Vic asked if he knew anyone in Texas most likely and Nick went 'well this lawyer worked for my family may be able to help you more in that regard' or something to that effect. These people make so many assumptions it's astounding. Then again it's social media where it's white or black and the other side always did the worst thing ever.

They made up an outlandish conspiracy theory about Nick and Ty. They also went after Stan Dahlin.

I think waiting for Chupp to decide defamation is breaking them mentally.

The stan dahlin thing was amazing. They accuse him of stochastic terrorism when that explicitly required hateful or hostile speech that inspired people to fear for their safety and lash out. Essentially something to catch people who all but directly say to attack a particular group. I like how they brought up the idiots asking them questions at other cons and then pretend that this was only possibly influenced by malicious intent. It was absolutely astounding, but then again wasn't this a dunford approved spearhead?

Possibly? I think someone was salty that Stan tweeted "don't go see Jamie Marchi". Then Marchi went "apparently I'm a danger if I go!" It's like, did these idiots just play themselves?

Fujos can’t separate fiction from reality. Fiction is reality to them.

Exhibit A: Netflix Voltron fandom.

A very mad Keith/Lance shipper said this about another popular slash ship that they oh so despised. The other ship was Shiro/Keith. Keep in mind, Keith is like 18 when the show starts and Shiro is 25.

This melt down is the the funniest, tardest, uber pathetic, and autism in its most concentrated form I witnessed.

Saying “fiction is reality” became a meme to make fun of these types after that. But this is how these lunatics actually think. It’s sad and hilarious.
oh wew that's fucking crazy

Ditto on the Enterprise theft thing! She's a beauty...

EDIT: to add drool-worthy video of her I took back in Feb

Enterprise D looked like an office building in space.

Enterprise E Didn't get enough good movies. Didn't get enough glamour shots. Was just CGI shit. Don't think they used a physical model past First Contact. Not to mention outside First Contact all the Next Gen movies were garbage.

Neither of those ships beat the 1701/1701A

Most memorable part of Star Trek TMP was the flyover of the refit Enterprise to dramatic music and stuff.

And the sequence when the enterprise leaves dry dock and goes off on its mission.

I'm a few minutes behind, but Nick is saying that the Judge can reverse his bench rulings on paper? Without a motion to reconsider? Am I misunderstanding it?

They've actually always been schizophrenic about this.

Well, unless you understand that "help" means "a noose" and "get help" is pronounced with a silent "killing himself" after it.
They are insincere. They'll say anything to convince him to go away and once he does, he's never going to be allowed back. Any apology he gives as part of his rehabilitation will only be used against him in the future, as we have already seen from the two that he already made.
I think there's two parts to their dumb rehabilitation claims. Agreed they're hoping to manipulate him and get him to end himself, but some of them are so obsessed with him they may really want him to weirdly join their side. He's a charismatic guy and hate crushes are a thing.
