Nintendo discussion thread

The GBA and DS were kino but boyhowdy did the motion controls ruin the wii. Even the fun shovelware was hard to control.
Gamecube was pretty cool tho (Except for the tiny fucking discs that meant more technically demanding games required disk swapping like the fucking PS1)

A lot of cool game series are still around because of Nintendo. Bayonetta was about to get the axe until they came in at the last second to help Platinum. Even the recent DLC for Smash are giving classics like Banjoo a possible shot for another sequel after a long time.

Also, their E3 presentations aren't filler and get right to the point.

I think the problem with Nintendo is with copyright. Really good fan projects have been shut down because of cease and desist letters. Even soundtracks of Nintendo's games are striken down on Youtube for copyright. It's gotten so bad people are labeling songs with "THIS IS NOT <song titles> FROM <video game>". Example:

Apparently Capcom may be dropping support for the Switch if what they said at TGS is true. None of their games sold well at all on the platform and they can't allocate further resources to help solve the switch's numerous bottlenecks when it comes to performance.

So now Nintendo retards are screaming CAPCOM WAS NEVER GOOD

Nintendo is a shit company that only survives from NEETbux. Their games are overpriced casual shit now that is only made enjoyable years later through emulators, like BOTW in CEMU. The last generation where they actually still had charm was the Gamecube where they actually tried to innovate got shit on. The good times officially died when New Super Mario Bros Wii outsold the superior Mario Galaxy 2.

Now we're at a point where they still treat their SNES games like some fucking Disney vault even though anyone with electronic device can emulate them. They DMCA anyone that shows how their games could actually improve. Now they're even charging full price for a remake of a fucking gameboy game. Fuck them.

There's TGS drama at a Panel that capcom held, but I'm not seeing any english sites covering it yet. Basically everything they're offering for switch owners are over priced digital only ports meanwhile Monster Hunter Iceborne has it's own stage and they're focusing on things that are not coming to the switch.

if you want the play by play here's the /v/ thread.

Lots of burned nintendies

That's honestly stupid to get mad about.

But, I think Nintendo is just okay.
Also, does anyone remember that motion control stuff they advertised like ARMS or 1-2 Switch?
They died out pretty fast.
