Agree with everything you said but that. They're SJWs, they see themselve a genius masterminds while thinking everyone else is dumb as fuck.
They put names in their affidavits, thinking no one would reach a Stan Dahlin because he's no longer part of the con scene or a EriMin because she's in japan.
They used pictures of random girls, not even thinking those girls could ever come foward to challenge their made up stories.
They used a frame from a video, thinking that no one would ever find the original video that disproves their narrative.
They used a photoshoped picture, not thinking that there was a way to debunk it.
A few notes:
Apparently they did contact Dahlin, expecting him to agree with them. He did not.
They blocked EriMin in the hope that she wouldn't be able to contact them and wouldn't be willing to step out and say something if she happened to hear about it. Likely they didn't realize
@EriMin actually kept in contact with Vic on friendly terms.
Exhibits 3+ are accurate, but to be fair those are basically the outer orbiters of kickvic. Lemoine couldn't even be bothered to question Vic about Michelle's story, that one kickvic youtuber girl I can't even remember the name of, and ANN - while more important than the others - is still pretty incompetent and lazy with their journalism.
Comparatively, Monica's story is what she used to guilt Tammi Denbow into getting Vic fired, and then to pressure Funimation into making their defamatory tweets against him. She used that story to get Vic fired from RT, as well, and Ron's tweets to KC indicate she probably used it on cons, too. Personally, I think the reason why Tammi's story doesn't add up is because she's hiding the fact that Monica's story is the one that
actually triggered the investigation and the firing - which she is hiding because it would absolutely strengthen the conspiracy angle. Especially if Tammi didn't question Vic about it, because she just believed Monica.
My point is, some of the key links in the real damage done by Monica likely rely on people
believing Monica because 'she's such a good and personable woman, she'd never lie about something like this' (Even Chuck, who is Vic's
personal friend thought that Monica and Marchi had
some kind of experience with Vic that they were misconstruing/blowing out of proportion for good intentions) - Marchi openly discussing that the story is fake with Monica as late as May is extremely unlikely.
Marchi
secretly discussing that the story is fake with Monica as late as May - like say in DMs in Twitter or Discord - though, that one is totally possible. Because she's stupid.
I think I might need to get this out the way because we always make fun of kv that claim to be neutrals, so it is only fair to do that here. Many of us do stand with vic though. Maybe not because he is some guy who voices anime characters, but because they were driving a good man to suicide with their bullshit. I think many of us had gotten to liking vic, while still knowing he is a flawed man.
Kickvic conflates 'standing with' Vic and 'blindly fanboying' Vic. Plenty of people stand with or are otherwise functionally on the same side of #istandwithvic simply because, upon looking at the evidence, they conclude that Vic isn't guilty of the accusations. They're not necessarily his fans, some might not even like him (because they have no soul and don't smile at puppies) and would be happy to pile on him if he were in the wrong...he just isn't.
