Has DSP ever apologized for his racist "jokes" (not to imply they were funny)? I imagine he would have had to after the Blip thing, but now that I think about it I've never seen a video of DSP owning up to and acting like a man about anything.
DSP apologized once in the form of admitting that he made a mistake when he got banned from Twitch the second time for harassment.
Some user said in chat that Phil is probably going to quit the game he was currently playing like "most of the shit he plays" (not an exact quote, but similar). Phil told him to fuck off, banned him, and then made fun of his blue hair in his profile pic.
Phil interpreted that this guy "blatantly insulted" him (EXACT QUOTE), and that he was simply standing up for himself.
He did not apologize to the person. He simply went on stream (youtube), and then passive aggressively said that he got suspended because he insulted the Twitch chat user's physical appearance, and that he would have been fine if he merely insulted him short of that. And then in a double whammy of both validating his bad behavior AND throwing Twitch under the bus, he said this just the other day:
I was told by, over a year ago, by the person who was my direct contact at Twitch, that if viewers are being stupid and/or insulting me or saying dumb stuff, that you know, is obviously to incite stuff, that I can insult them as much as I want as long as it's not about their physical appearance.
So he learned nothing from that incident, and possibly even took Twitch's response as an endorsement of his toxicity.
So yes, DSP will offer the most passive aggressive, conditional apology for his wrongdoings when his bank account is threatened.
Other than that, no. Phil doesn't apologize.
