Acting like he's a genius because he kicked off the original gcc (with lots of help, I might add), but then judging that work based on what gcc has since become is like calling cwc a genius because of comics like asperchu or the fan art people make in the cwc subforum.

Stallman quit being a programmer years ago to be an ideologue, and he wasn't a particularly talented programmer in the first place. Consider his shittastic implementation of emacs lisp.

Poweleveling a tiny bit here..but you all mention IT as being the newest "cucked" profession, but so far, despite never joining any societies for reasons such as the OP, I see that engineering is the last uncucked "white collar" profession and I don't see it being cucked in the near future.

I... don't see this burning out; It is too entrenched in Academia. At best I could see things slow down for a few years until the current status quo is the new normal and, as one hypothetical example, accepting "passable" transexuals becomes something a true conservative would do; Of course, someone who has an opinion more extreme that will be considered fringe at that point.
I mean, it has already happened with Gay marriage, a thing Politician were mostly afraid to support before 2008, so why would it just stop here?
The only question I wonder is how fast or slow this will continue to happen.

Most likely, unless China manages to suddenly collapse, I see them being able to utterly stomp on the West in all things once enough time has passed to ensure its foundations are truly rotted through (and there are enough potential collaborators who feel they have no future).

That their software is going to suffer as a result is a foregone conclusion; the question is how bad they fuck up in the process.

They really can't do anything to stop branch communities from doing their own shit, and the nerds who have already evacuated are probably well on their way to do so off-the-grid. If you're talking about Corey Ehmke, the issue is that there's a population of trannies who became trannies after they were already neckbeards. Striped socks and backmarket HRT are popular among a certain population of actually talented neckbeards.
