I figured I'd go check up on the poke wiki Lily had set up. Cause why not. (Also sorry for just URLs the archive site is being stupid at the moment.
Anyway the first page is just Lily hodge-podging a reason for the rape stuff not to be rape. Like pokemon abuse can only happen one way.
Lily the solution to your problem here was not writing that in the first place. You wouldn't need all these laws and technicalities if you had just not written that.
The second one is more brief but 3 times as sad. It's the comic page where a guy knocks Lily out and attempts to rape her, then Gardevoir murders him.
Pathetic. Also considering how hyper intelligent and violent this animal is, I'm going to call bullshit on the "power dynamic" excuse Lily's been using. The fucking thing is just a woman in a dress made of her own skin. Just admit it Lily. Stop dancing around what you wrote.

Just to clarify, a man, who was close enough to Jerry to knock him out and, by extension, close enough to grab a pokeball out of Jerry's belt, could not stop Gardevoir from murdering him. But don't worry, pokeballs make it so Pokemon abuse can't happen.

I think that's kinda where the premise falls apart. Most pokemon are analogous to pets. you've got dogs, rats, cats, lizards, snakes, etc...then you have pokemon like Gardevoir. Not only is it human-like with very few differences to even set it apart from some random anime babe, but it is very intelligent and capable of expression complex emotions and understanding human speech. Owning a Gardevoir is not like owning a pet, if anything it's more like owning another person. Theoretically a Gardevoir could integrate into human society. Hold a job, pay rent and taxes, start a family, etc. They're more than intelligent enough to do so, and have the body plan to operate any and all human tools and devices (discounting the fact they literally have telekinetic powers and don't need to touch anything).
Even as a slavery analogue it doesn't work because Jerry doesn't hold any physical or emotional power over her to keep her enslaved. Gardevoir can read his mind, so it knows when he lies, or is bluffing, so threats of violence are meaningless, and any actual attempts at violence would be met with Jerry being splattered into a wall because of how OP he makes Gardevoir. The only reason she stays is because she's a Gardevoir and blind devotion to their trainers is their whole schtick.
The only thing I can think he's POSSIBLY going for is that it's like being in a relationship with someone underaged. If that is the case...
Jerry. Why does someone who hates pedophilia like to write about it so much? It's been a theme in nearly EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WRITTEN.
Edit: Occurred to me overnight the angle he’s going for might be the loyalty thing. Since Gardevoir are devoted and subservient to their trainers, they aren’t in a position to refuse sexual advances from their master because they believe they’re ‘helping them’ or ‘bonding’ or something. If that’s the case, good job Jerry. You’ve spent a lot of time thinking about why you shouldn’t fuck your waifu (seriously, no one on the planet would rank Gardevoir as their number one favorite for any other reason; because it’s basically just a really slender, angelic fairy woman.)

This makes the fucking Violate arc even fucking worse to be honest, given the savior in this fictionalised version of an supposed real life rape would turn around and confess to performing what is ineffably another act of rape.

the fuck is that mouth on gardevoir? Never have we ever seen her with that many teeth. sure i think theres been one pannel/scene in the manga/anime where it's had spikey teeth. but not 3 rows of them

and that the shittiest excuse of a roller coaster ive seen. why are they stranding? that bar is unsafe as the seets are too far away from it. where's the belts? why aren't they dead yet? And why is her fucking mouth so big like jesus fucking christ people.
And yes the art matters because comics are a visual medium you spengaloid.
I get it its for fun, not selling them and all that. fair enough, i can exuse the art, but this is terrible practice for your gf if you aint giving her anytips... as she literally sells her art (or tries to at least)
There are plenty of comics out there that dont even have alot off dialogue in them yet still present an amazing story if the art is good enough. its something called emersion and tension, google it lily.
hell same goes for media like movies. plenty of silent movies out ther e(not just the old kind either) and scenes. like the first half of Wall-e or the first 10 minutes of Up, arguably the best bits of both movies.
DIALOGUE ISNT EVERYTHING! Sure t helps with general bater between characters, or flavor text or of two characters are verbally fighting... but the visuals work alot more than you give them credit for... also arent you disrespecting artists for saying the visuals dont matter?
