Thinking about the mediation.
Do we know if anyone from Funimation ever went to any event related to the lawsuit alongside their lawyer?
Was there a Funimation representative at the TCPA hearing? At the deposition? etc.
I wonder if John Volney could be sent alone at the mediation...

Of the four you mentioned, Vic's the only one I know off the top of my head who has done voice work for both LA and Texas. I don't recall any Funimation or Sentai works Crispin, Yuri, or Steve have done.


Ron's SSN (I think it was Ron's) was purely the fault of the court. They're supposed to redact that information, but whoever was writing up the docs done goofed.

Crispin did a couple of Slayers projects for Funimation thanks to the miracle of NYAV Post. Not sure about the other guys, though.

Getting cheated on is no excuse to relish in Vic's suffering, aiding the people that want him dead and lying to people about how there will be charges brought against Vic soon.

At this point I would go as far as to say she wants him dead as well. Don't get how anyone could still have any form of sympathy for her.

Speaking of Steve Blum, that reminds me that he canceled his appearance at Anime Matsuri for this year, along with another voice actress. I never heard of her before... Her name was Elizabeth or Mary Elizabeth something... Makes me wonder if they pulled out because of Funimation putting pressure on them to do so or simply because they hate Vic. Hmm... At all the cons that he showed up to, it also makes me wonder how many VAs cancelled because of his appearance. Maybe that is just a weird coincidence though. The two VAs did have ties to Funimation. Reuben showed up, but he doesn't have any obligations to Funi.

Blum is so far up DC's ass that I don't know where one asshole starts and the other stops. He's also one of Lucasfilm's go to people for voice work and being woke (or at least pretending to be) is a job requirement.

Her name is Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, she mostly does voice directing and voicing side characters, but her most known anime voice acting probably is Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. Video games wise, I know she voices Nina Williams in Tekken and player female crusader in Diablo 3 or Johanna in HoTS. She and Steve Blum have been dating to each other for a year now, I think? She sometimes participates in Critical Role. I wouldn't say Funimation pressuring them to do anything, I'd rather say they want to stay out of drama, since they are more on LA side. It's true that Steve Blum and her are quite lean left, and they have enough politic drama/sperging on their twitter. Since I don't know much on dubbing industry, so I have no idea if they work closely with Funimation besides doing supporting roles in Dragon Ball one time.

Other than that, Steve Blum have met Vic Mignogna before in a few conventions, being friendly with each other. You can find more clips on youtube.

Steve Blum is a mystery, because Vic had previously called Steve a friend, but he's one of the few LA VAs who is just rabidly against Vic. He isn't part of the Texas clique, and he's similar to Crispin and Bryce in that he doesn't need Sabat's help to get roles. There's no reason for him to be KV, he just...is.

My best guess is that his TDS struck and he decided to hate Vic for not joining in on that, while Vic, being a normal and sane person, didn't think his political beliefs needed to align with someone to consider them his friend.
