Okay, he's posting new stuff again, even as we type our sad little keyboard words into our text boxes.
how_i_spent_christmas_with_my_waifu__mio__by_windowsmillenium2000-d8hdyax.jpg

When he got a comment saying "Y2K" repeatedly, he responded with even more of the same. The way he acts is almost too much to be true - so I have three theories.

Theory 1 is very obviously that the whole thing is a :ruse:, and that he's trying to become the next big thing by purposefully making awful art and videos. I'm leaning the most on this one, and the only doubt in my mind is how thorough the whole thing is - despite the fact that he uses windows XP instead of ME, he seems entirely devoted to the mask.

Theory 2 is that he's really, really autistic. Or some other very big mental disorder is going on here - something that leads him to believe that everything he sees is geniune, that the low-quality MS Paint, artifacted images he produces are okay. The reasons for artifacting would probably be him needing to save space on his computer if it's that old, resulting in a lower-quality image compression. The other reason is that he's using MS goddamn actual paint for this. He really loves the late 90s for some reason, and he thinks everything is fine and dandy. He's entirely too far into it to seem plausible, though.

Theory 3 is that this is actually just a time capsule/warp effect, and that all of this content or even the person himself is just straight from the year 2000. Even on an internet connection, you would be able to see visual styles change and such, especially when using YouTube, the company who likes to change a feature just because they can.

In all cases but Theory 2, this is all just a burn-out, false flag of a thread here. If Theory 2 ends up prevailing, though... I think we might be in for one hell of a ride.

Anyway, there's my wordbomb. I'll let it digest, or something. Yowza.

I swear, his obsession with Mio is downright oddball. If he's doing this for the laughs, then okay but if not, then he's got some full-on issues.

But my point is: why Mio of all things? Get a waifu with big ol' tits, like Mai Shiranui or something. Whatever, I'm thinking too hard on this.

So, according to this, his art is bad on purpose. He wants to make it look like it's from the earlier days of the computers. Why? Who knows why, that's it's own thing. But that part is on purpose, at least.

The rest of it continues to be ambiguous, but this makes things even shakier. He could still be legitimately obsessed with Mio, here, and the shitty art is just a hobby. But on another note, be on the lookout for this "work of art" coming about soonly-ish, I guess. He may actually think that Waifuism is a legitimate thing to be advocating here. It's very... odd.

Well, I'll give him that for being honest about his work.

Makes sense. In that case, I applaud his effort, as his cgi work does remind me of that time.

Dude needs to have an aesthetic blog on Tumblr.

I haven't seen Nichijou yet, I might want to, but isn't it filled with random access humor? This guy's videos are certainly of that sphere.

It's pretty much like Azumanga Daioh but overly dramatic for humorous effect.

So, yeah.

It's still good, though.

I will be very disappointed if someone here does invite him to the forums.
If he does come here somehow, one can assume he'd want this thread deleted and criticism of his art gone.

The waifu stuff is almost old hat at this point. I'm more intrigued with his obsession with Windows ME, even at the time it was released it was a commercial and technical failure. It was the last Windows OS before the switch to the NT kernel and was a bloated, buggy mess. I just don't get it, I understand being a fan of vintage computing devices but Windows ME has always been shit.

I asked, he said it's for nostalgia. I guess he just used it as a kid and wants to keep the dream alive, kinda like how he purposefully draws crappy art so it looks like it's from the 90's. He also said he doesn't use it for actual tasks since that's impossible, as stated previously. But he still "appreciates" it, I guess.

New art, this doesn't look like it's "shitty on purpose" - it has a high image quality. It's just creepy and poorly drawn. It -is- also of a mascot from the 90s, for McDonalds. I think less and less each time that this guy is rusing, just a little bit each time.
I never thought that this was a ruse to begin with. What with his underage Waifu and obsession of Windows ME.

Mac Tonight? He's more from the late 80's IICR.

If this dude wasn't so creepy, his interests in Nichijou, bizarre 3D animations, outdated technology and old commercial mascots from the 80's and 90's would make him a man after my own heart.

Wasn't he introduced in the mid-1980s?

Hi. I really enjoyed reading this thread as it had me create an account here so I could reply.
Before you make any further assumptions, I'd suggest reading my newest DA Journal Entry:

So, now you know the mystery behind this account. Also, I'd really appreciate it if OP could edit out my name from the post as that is my legitimate full name. Thanks a lot.

Satire or not, you shouldn't be linking your RL name to this kind of thing. Which you did. I'll remove it at a moderator's judgement (or they could just go over me, I think they have that power.)

Still, this thread can get locked now that we know the thing in it's entirety was one of the satires. A tip from me to you on your next attempt is to be a little less blatantly poor in quality - even using the "90s emulation" excuse, the poor-quality art was just -too- far into the image compression to be entirely realistic.

I think I'm more relieved that you were playing up obsession than actually having it, but I suppose it's not up to me alone whether or not we continue to watch what you're doing or not. I'm sure people have claimed satire falsely before. Moderators are Goderators, in this matter. If they want me to delete the name and then they lock the thread, up to them. Either way, thanks for coming on down to see us.

EDIT: Satire or not, don't mention that you masturbate to anything on a public journal. That line somehow escaped me.
