I feel exactly the same. Monica's story is in utter pieces, and not a single person on her side is remotely acknowledging it. Since the hearing, everything has been about Jamie, interestingly enough, and the back and forth about the innocuous hair "pulling". They laugh at the idea of conspiracy, because on paper it sounds ludicrous, but the blatant lack of focus on Monica's story consistently being poked holes through makes it clear that they're just circling the wagons to protect her, since the common interest is to the burn this toxic, masculine witch at the stake. It's been a disgusting show of complete reckless disregard for the truth. They simply want to be right about Vic because they've already sullied up this boogeyman and they want to defeat it. The pinata has already been stuffed and hung; they want to break it open now. That's what this is. The truth does not matter.

Put me down for “Sony orders Funi to settle quickly and quietly. Get NDA’s up, and stop the ongoing brand damage as soon as possible”. Given the not unexpected upheavals the better option for Sony would be to get out from any potential liability quickly. TCPA succeeding just dumps them into a long drawn out appeals process where the bad PR keeps on going. Settling now with NDA’s in place makes it all go away. Plus whoever ends up in charge of the combined Ani Funi isn’t gonna want to take ownership of this mess. Shut it down now and move on.

I think the bottom may have just fallen out of the Texas VA market.

And a little round of applause for Monica and Jamie's friends like Dominique Skye and Jessie Chinmore for drawing in their amazing tabloid friends to bring this already turbulent situation more exposure than Funimation or Sony probably ever wanted.

Jamie Marchi getting dismissed was the win that they prophesied. That Monica, Ron and Funimation being potentially on the hook for defamation is a minor quibble which will be fixed. They promise.

It won't matter if Monica's story crumbles to ash, they still have Funimations "investigation."

Once Funimation backs down, Monica's story will be more closely examined as the last pillar of claims.

My pet theory is that she is actually the one that started the whole thing.

Basically after devoting her hot-looking fertile years trying to land the chad she was ultimately spurned for younger version of herself by a lifelong bactchelor. She was so pissed she dedicated her exiastience to destroying him by getting industry buddies like Rial, Marchi et al to make his life a misery. She shared her harrowing stories and emails with the SJWs of the industry- and it being a sisterhood and #metoo being such a successful weapon in other showbizz genres - the wheels were set in motion. A plot is hatched on PULL, and suddenly all these 'victims' emerge.

If we have learnt nothing else from classic theatre ( and life) we have learnt that " Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".

What she hates is likely that Vic is doing better after the break up than she is.
