Everything I've read about Sockness has disturbed me to the extent where I haven't been bothering to keep up with anything involving his ongoing contact with Pristine Christine, but after sifting through the last 2-3 weeks of events, I'm honestly really concerned over the ultimate outcome of this entire arrangement.
On the one hand, Sockness having a one-way ticket to Charlottesville doesn't necessarily imply that he wants the savage destruction of Chris's asshole to be his swan song. It's usually the cheapest option to buy OWTs for the departure/return trips, and I'm pretty sure Jake the Rape Snake doesn't have that kind of dosh. It's possible that the only thing that will happen is them going out to some cheap bacteria infested diner, Chris being uninterested/disgusted with Sockness's rambling about his occult beliefs, and ending the night watching a shitty movie while one tweets about the merge and the other raving about how well he's hitting it off with his muse. Repeat/rinse for five days until Jacob goes home to gloat about it.
On the other, more unfortunate side, Sockness will give in to his primal desires to part Chris's asshole like the red sea, culminating in him murdering Chris, wearing his skin like a body suit, and attempting to convince Barb that the merge is finally complete and that her son has begun the metamorphosis into the CPU Goddess he always was but could never be in this reality.
In the event of the former, we also won't know if routine visits to VA will end up becoming a recurring affair that could possibly escalate into something resembling the latter. Whether it'll be a long-term saga or an isolated incident, the outcome is still going to be yet another negative on Chris's life that will yield some pretty fucked up consequences one way or another.
