The point is that when it comes to a situation like this that you're recalling, your mood isn't jovial. You're not making jokes, you're not smiling, you're not laughing. This is a traumatic event, one in which subconciously you react to negatively. Everything Monica said and did during her deposition said she was lying. This is basic psychology, and it flew in the face of what I have seen when it comes to shit like this.

Monica never showed signs that she was afraid of vic like not sitting next to him and moving away from him and also not intiating contact with vic.

Another big thing that gets me about Monica is she romanticizes her supposed assault.
She goes on and talks about it but whenever anyone tries to take the spotlight from her and her friends she gets nasty. All of them do. It's disgusting to me because if she was profoundly effected by her assault she wouldn't behave like that. But it's now a part of her identity. She loves the attention.

Monica doesn't like thinking about the fact that the world doesn't revolve her and her pals.

Not to mention for someone who has been in abusive relationships, she sure does play the same hand of cards as abusers do. Every play from her playbook can be found in a "signs of your partner being an abuser" pamphlet.

Also, for someone who's gone through something as horrifying as rape and sexual abuse she sure doesn't have an issue talking about how she has sex with Ron.



I'm no expert on rape/sexual abuse victims and I don't know any personally, but I'm willing to bet the last thing any of them would do is boast about how much of a slut they are or how their sex life is. I'm sure many of them lock up in fear and desperation and start having flashbacks of any traumatizing event they suffered, like how she claims happened when Vic "assaulted her" back in 2007, the moment they start getting intimate with their man. Let alone being intimate with a (wo)man like Ron Toye who has a history of spousal abuse.

He wasn't raped, he just happened to be an underage boy who had awesome sex with a cluster of immigrants who caught him half a decade before he could technically consent. I just can't agree with you more. I don't know how better to express that. Three types of people that I instantly despise: pedophiles, animal abusers, and people that will lie about being victims of sexual assault for attention/revenge/whatever. Some rape victims do cope by becoming hyper-sexual in some manner instead of the opposite. It's a thing that happens.

I'm still not 100% sold that this is the truth, mind you. It's not quite Carl Benjamin's claim that his wife was raped and he was sexually assaulted after weeks of being interrogated about his rape joke, but it's still possible it's a ploy for sympathy.
