US President Donald J. Trump Impeachment Megathread - Democrats commit mass political suicide

On September 24th, 2019, Nanci Pelosi did what everyone expected was some exceptional political posturing -- initiating a formal impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump.

The initial "charge," such as it was, was "betraying his oath of office and the nation's security by seeking to enlist a foreign power to tarnish a rival for his own political gain." This, amusingly, was after it was discovered and widely reported on that the DNC had contacted the very same foreign power to attempt to tarnish Trump.

Specifically, this was all based on a rumor that Trump had asked the Ukraine to investigate how a prosecutor investigating Joe Biden's son for corruption had gotten fired, and withheld foreign aid until they had agreed. (He did ask the leader of the Ukraine to investigate what happened with the prosecutor, but did not hold up any foreign aid nor threaten anything of the like.)

Around this time, Trump did something they could not, and still cannot, understand: He publicly turned over all the documents. The transcript of the phone call they claimed showed him committing the crime of blackmailing the Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden for him was released, showing that Trump did nothing wrong. The only reaction the radical left had was arguing over the definition of "transcript" and spouting off a conspiracy theory about official state documents being edited.

At the same time, old video evidence of Joe Biden publicly bragging about blackmailing the Ukraine into NOT investigating his son came to light. Yes, this is exactly what they're accusing Trump of doing. The left is nothing if not subtle. Right after this, evidence came to light that Pelosi, Kerry, and Romney's kids had similar fake jobs in the Ukraine, getting paid ungodly amounts of money and embezzling US foreign aid to the Ukraine -- all things that Trump's Attorney General has openly discussed investigating.

By releasing the transcripts, the DNC was tripped up. Instead of being able to leak information from their secret investigation until November 2020, they were forced to play their hand publicly.

And they had no hand to play. The impeachment accusations came from second and third hand sources -- watercooler talk from Unelected Deep State Analysts with Trump Derangement Syndrome, outraged that President Trump refused to obey them when they felt they had a better idea as to how to run Foreign Affairs. Other allegations included that supposedly, the telepathic DNC members working in the state department knew what Trump was thinking (despite him literally saying the exact opposite) or could tell that Trump would do something even worse -- maybe something actually illegal -- in the future, and boy howdy, the imaginary Trump in their minds was a right bastard.

(As an aside, the name of the whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella, has been censored across pretty much all social media, a test run of whatever censorship they're going to enact in the next few months to try and swing the election.)

At the same time, the DNC performed significant amounts of partisan political fuckery to do this all publicly, but unofficially -- preventing the GOP from bringing forth witnesses or questioning the DNC's witnesses, or even reading the double plus secret evidence the DNC supposedly had. Those GOP that did get access to the evidence have confirmed it's a 3 pound 5 ounce nothingburger.

The charges have since mutated, with them initially being changed to "bribery" -- as "bribery" focus groups easier and is easier to spew out on Twitter.

On December 18th, 2019, along party lines and with bipartisan opposition, they finally drafted their articles of impeachment -- first for "Abuse of Power" and second for "Obstruction of Congress." Neither are actually crimes nor are they impeachable offenses, even if they were true -- which the DNC has provided no evidence of, explaining that it's the Senate's job to investigate and find the evidence.

Narrator: It is not the Senate's job to investigate and find the evidence.

The "Obstruction of Congress" charge is particularly egregious, as they are claiming that Trump, by reaching out to the courts to act as mediators in his dispute over the rules with Pelosi, was obstructing her. In other words, Pelosi's stance is that the President must obey her, even if she's being a batshit insane drunk. Many legal scholars, including Alan Dershowitz, have pointed out that this is absolute bullshit.

The latest development as of this writing on December 21th, 2019, is that Pelosi is demanding that the GOP recuse itself, allowing the DNC to reshape the Senate in order to make the process "fair" -- by creating a Kangaroo court. The GOP is refusing outright, as the Senate's role during this is very specifically to take the charges and all the evidence gathered from the house -- which is none -- and vote yes or no on impeachment. They need 2/3rd majority to vote yes, and the DNC does not have the votes.

Pelosi is refusing to send over the articles of impeachment until the GOP allows her to stack the Senate against Trump, an act that Dershowitz as well as Noah Feldman, the DNC's own star legal expert witness, has said is unconstitutional and "a problem," as Trump isn't impeached until the articles have been filed. Meanwhile, the DNC has put the House on vacation until the new year, while the Senate is exploring options including forcing the articles over without Pelosi's ok. Trump and the Senate have both went to the SCOTUS to ask them if any of this is constitutional.

tl;dr: Trump may have found where the Swamp was embezzling US Foreign Aid. Many politician's children working fake jobs for huge amounts of money in the Ukraine, blatantly selling influence. This caused the DNC to freak out and try and headshot Trump. They missed. The Democrats appear to have committed political suicide, making Trump a Martyr and only realizing in the aftermath that they didn't actually get rid of him or even weaken him in any way. They also appear to realize they fucked up and are trying to slow walk it back, keeping the "he's impeached!" victory while not actually having to let anyone read the evidence or have a trial on it.

@Yotsubaaa did a great writeup here with links to various winner posts: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/nancy...kraine-phone-call.61583/page-135#post-5606264

And @Yotsubaaa did a new version very late on the 21st of December: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/presi...chment-megathread.61583/page-260#post-5754920

Which are too big to quote here.

WASHINGTON — Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Tuesday that the House would initiate a formal impeachment inquiry against President Trump, charging him with betraying his oath of office and the nation’s security by seeking to enlist a foreign power to tarnish a rival for his own political gain.

Ms. Pelosi’s declaration, after months of reticence by Democrats who had feared the political consequences of impeaching a president many of them long ago concluded was unfit for office, was a stunning turn that set the stage for a history-making and exceedingly bitter confrontation between the Democrat-led House and a defiant president who has thumbed his nose at institutional norms.

“The actions taken to date by the president have seriously violated the Constitution,” Ms. Pelosi said in a brief speech invoking the nation’s founding principles. Mr. Trump, she added, “must be held accountable — no one is above the law.”

She said the president’s conduct revealed his “betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections.”

Ms. Pelosi’s decision to push forward with the most severe action that Congress can take against a sitting president could usher in a remarkable new chapter in American life, touching off a constitutional and political showdown with the potential to cleave an already divided nation, reshape Mr. Trump’s presidency and the country’s politics, and carry heavy risks both for him and for the Democrats who have decided to weigh his removal.

Though the outcome is uncertain, it also raised the possibility that Mr. Trump could become only the fourth president in American history to face impeachment. Presidents Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were both impeached but later acquitted by the Senate. President Richard M. Nixon resigned in the face of a looming House impeachment vote.

It was the first salvo in an escalating, high-stakes standoff between Ms. Pelosi, now fully engaged in an effort to build the most damning possible case against the president, and Mr. Trump, who angrily denounced Democrats’ impeachment inquiry even as he worked feverishly in private to head off the risk to his presidency.

Mr. Trump, who for months has dared Democrats to impeach him, issued a defiant response on Twitter while in New York for several days of international diplomacy at the United Nations, with a series of fuming posts that culminated with a simple phrase: “PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!” Meanwhile, his re-election campaign and House Republican leaders launched a vociferous defense, accusing Democrats of a partisan rush to judgment.

“Such an important day at the United Nations, so much work and so much success, and the Democrats purposely had to ruin and demean it with more breaking news Witch Hunt garbage,” Mr. Trump wrote. “So bad for our Country! For the past two years, talk of impeachment had centered around the findings of the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, who investigated Russia’s interference in the 2016 elections and Mr. Trump’s attempts to derail that inquiry. On Tuesday, Ms. Pelosi, Democrat of California, told her caucus and then the country that new revelations about Mr. Trump’s dealings with Ukraine, and his administration’s stonewalling of Congress about them, had finally left the House no choice but to proceed toward a rarely used remedy.

“Right now, we have to strike while the iron is hot,” she told House Democrats in a closed-door meeting in the basement of the Capitol. Emerging moments later to address a phalanx of news cameras, Ms. Pelosi, speaking sometimes haltingly as she delivered a speech from a teleprompter, invoked the Constitution and the nation’s founders as she declared, “The times have found us” and outlined a new stage of investigating Mr. Trump.

At issue are allegations that Mr. Trump pressured the president of Ukraine to open a corruption investigation of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., a leading contender for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, and his son. The conversation is said to be part of a whistle-blower complaint that the Trump administration has withheld from Congress. And it occurred just a few days after Mr. Trump had ordered his staff to freeze more than $391 million in aid to Ukraine.

Mr. Trump has confirmed aspects of his conversation with the Ukrainian leader in recent days, but he continues to insist he acted appropriately.

The president said on Tuesday that he would authorize the release of a transcript of the conversation, part of an effort to pre-empt Democrats’ impeachment push. But Democrats, after months of holding back, were unbowed, demanding the full whistle-blower complaint and other documentation about White House dealings with Ukraine, even as they pushed toward an expansive impeachment inquiry that could encompass unrelated charges.

President Trump’s personal lawyer. The prosecutor general of Ukraine. Joe Biden’s son. These are just some of the names mentioned in the whistle-blower’s complaint. What were their roles? We break it down.

Ms. Pelosi told fellow Democrats that Mr. Trump told her in a private call on Tuesday morning that he was not responsible for withholding the whistle-blower complaint from Congress. But late Tuesday, the White House and intelligence officials were working on a deal to allow the whistle-blower to speak to Congress and potentially even share a redacted version of the complaint in the coming days, after the whistle-blower expressed interest in talking to lawmakers.

Although Ms. Pelosi’s announcement was a crucial turning point, it left many unanswered questions about exactly when and how Democrats planned to push forward on impeachment.

Update: #CancelNYT started trending as apparently the whistleblower's identity was reveal today when Trump said "Whistleblowers are spies and should be shot." So in response a swarm of folks on twitter started unsubbing from NYT.

Why is it that every time someone makes even the slightest slipup in their eyes, these rabid motherfuckers decide that the entire institution needs to be burned down?

All they had to do was not be crazy.
This is how you decided to start off one of the craziest, meth-fueled slackjaw rants of the decade. In the future, when they've classified Trump Derangement Syndrome it won't be because of a screeching liberal in a pussy hat, but because of literally insane boomers like you fueled by what is possibly a literal hard-on for Donald Trump.

Your post sounds like it was meant for Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance but got cut for being too cartoonish and over-the-top. You didn't just drink the MAGA koolaid, you took a fucking MAGA suppository. Whoever didn't put you in a home when they had the chance should be tried for senior citizen abuse.

You don't give a fuck about the Ukraine, I don't give a fuck about the Ukraine, let fucking Russia eat the Ukraine and shit out more Chornobyls for all any of us care.

Funny that you mention memory-holing, since this entire scandal is happening because Trump likes using a secure server meant for national security threats to memory-hole conversations that hurt him politically
Nobody knows how anything works, anymore.

Multiple note takers transcribe White House phone calls by hand and on computers, and using voice-recognition software. The calls aren't recorded, and haven't been since the 1970s. So many duty officers and NSC staff are listening in and taking notes that it's not possible to cover up "incriminating" calls, there would be too many conflicting records and it would trigger a legitimate whistleblower complaint, if it was even possible to do it in the first place because everyone has to compare and compile notes, and then send those notes even further up the chain where they're compared again before being officially transcribed.

I know that the Washington Post told people that they know how everything works, but that's not how this works. The funniest part is that the Washington Post ran a story yesterday explaining how it actually fucking works, and apart from the useless "Orange Man Bad" tripe they shoehorned into the middle of the article, it's actually a very accurate summary of the system.

They just can't help themselves. You hear "Trump Derangement Syndrome" and say "Naw, it can't be that bad" then you see shit like this.

I mean, shit during Drooling Mongoloid Oil Tycoon '43 Edition was bad, but never this bad. (That lovely "Troops are welfare queens" meme to counter the "Support Our Troops" movement happened about the same time to try to restart the 60's "War bad mmkay..." bullshit like nobody knew war was bad because hippies are one trick dick sucking faggots) Then Negro Kunta Kinta got elected and suddenly you couldn't even so much as say "I don't like him droning civilians" without being shrieked at that you were racist by virtue signalling faggots who finally felt like they'd stuck it the parents who hugged them too much or not enough.

The Super Mecha Orange Hitler got elected by Putin stealing The Flash's powers and running to all the ballot boxes to change everyone's ballots by hand and DIDN'T YOU KNOW IT WAS AN UNLIKABLE LIZARD QUEEN DRESSED IN A STOLEN HUMAN SKIN'S TURN!

Pfft, like America would elect a fucking woman to POTUS. Sorry, Martha, but you don't get to take the day off to get a spa and a manicure if the Oil Ghouls and the Shekel People are having another fucking slap fight over who's Sky God sucks less dick. (Spoiler: It's neither. They're both heathen fuckers who good God Fearing Christians in America should support killing with nuclear weapons because one side worships a cross dressing child molester and the other one killed Christ. You know it, I know it)

Now, all the Dem's had to do was not be complete fucking crazy people. All they had to do was trad-wrangle the fucking media. All they had to do was no go on TV and act like The Three TBI Stooges meet Don Fucking Knotts in the case of the nuclear butthurt.

AND THEY COULDN'T FUCKING DO IT!

Nancy Pelosi, who has looked like an Egyptian mummy's Realdoll for the last 10 years and fucking Schumer, who looks like Lurch's uglier dumber child molesting cousin who probably touched Wednesday Addams in her no-no spot couldn't even tard wrangle two 65 IQ Mudders, a nigger with a cowboy hat, and a crack smoking donkey. Then the shit with Kavanaugh which resulted in Pelosi looking for someone who wanted to buy a high milage used Ford when the shitshow was over. I mean, for fuck's sake, you had crying weeping women clawing at the doors of government buildings like they just found out that inside was the last pumpkin spice latte.

Yeah, let's elect the half of humanity who can't figure out how to operate a fucking doorknob when they get upset or are such entitled children that when they don't get their way they collapse at the doorway sobbing that Daddy is mean for not buying them a gold plated unicorn pony.

Now Spray-Bottle Pelosi wants me to believe she can goat-rope a fucking impeachment hearing against the Shitposter In Chief? Does she realize that he gets to defend himself and he'll have half of the Dems curled up in a ball crying and the other half suffered a dementia fueled stroke within ten sentences? Does that unlikable spit spraying dried up old mummy husk not realize she's gonna have to convince other people to go along with her idea of impeachment when she can barely get people to believe she's ever been part of the human goddamn race? I've seen lizards running across hot sand on their hind legs that have more believable human features that ol' Spray Bottle.

And Chuck "I did not eat that child alive" Schumer. Holy fucking shit. For her partner in all of this she chose Doctor Frankenstein's first failed creation? I mean, I get that the Dems support Troons because they're all trans-species fucking lizard people that some space faring race pawned off on us to dump all their sexually deviant exceptional individuals (That's what you get for beaming white trash trailer park Methican Americans up to do buttstuff with them for so long, you gray skinned narrow faced bug eyed exceptional individuals, some people decide that's their fetish) and if we can believe that some hulking refugee from the 80's Chicago Bears defensive line who crammed themselves into a My Little Pony Dress and put on a Hello Kitty headband is a goddam woman despite 2 days stubble, a voice like a goddamn coal miner who smokes 8 packs a day, and shoulders broad enough to make Samson jealous, then maybe, just fucking maybe, we can believe these assholes might have human ancestry beyond some redneck Cletus looking Methican American jizzing in the alien birthing pods.

And THESE are the rat fuck nigger-loving spic-humping gook-worshipping tranny-stroking child-fucking serial rapists that think we're going to side with them over PotUS who AT LEAST MAKES US LAUGH?

And for fucking what?

For the fucking Ukraine, which people only know about because they happen to have a deep fucking part next to the Great Salt Water Lake and a melted down Soviet scrap metal pile that puts out radiation that *MIGHT* correct their fucking DNA damage from being godless heathen vodka snorting cock sucking Communists?

Because Trump supposedly threatened some Eastern Europe trash fire?

Oh boo hoo hoo.

I don't give a fuck if he threatened the Ukraine.

I wouldn't give a shit if he pushed The Unfuckable Merkel over, sat on her head, and farted until she agreed to dissolve the EU while eating hamburgers and shooting the OK sign at passerby.

We're fucking America. You're goddamn right we're going to bully your shitty backwoods country and there's shit you can do about it except lick the shit off our dick when we're done with you and looking for our next fucking victim to sheathe our massive 21st Century cock into until they vomit red white and blue. We've got the greatest economy in the world because the pollution goblins are little more than jumped up iSlaves, the fucking vodka troglodytes can't fucking heat their homes half the time, and the EU spends all their money supported Aloha Snackbar workers. We're the greatest because we fucking say we are and your pathetic country could vanish off the face of the earth and not only would nobody notice but the people who ran away from it, but it would probably improve the fucking world.

We're America. Our national bird is an asshole, our flag proclaims proudly on battlefields on mountains of our foes dead that we're an asshole, we invented the A10 and the M1 which makes our military assholes, our PotUS is an asshole, we act like assholes, we come to YOUR fucking country and you'll smile while we act like an asshole there.

GOD himself made us into assholes. And we elected a man who oozed our national identity of being an asshole.

You're goddamn right he bullied Ukraine. Their name sounds like Urkel and EVERYONE wanted to beat that little nigger's ass.

Biden's shambling corpse is just mad that the only thing he could bully right now is a coroner.

This is going to result in Pelosi and her Tard Farm having to choke on Trump's orange cock on the front lawn of the White House while they cry "Next time <gurgle gurgle gurgle>" and Donkey Chompers can stand outside the fence and cry like the little bitch she is.

is this a copypasta

I think someone just found the leak marker.

The only named official in the entire whistleblower complaint--a name placed there so that Schiff would have someone who actually listened to the call to drag before the House Intel committee, which is why it was so important that there be any name--wasn't actually on the call. I'd be willing to bet that was the indicator used to pinpoint the leaker.

The New York Times already botched this person's anonymity by presenting information that could be used to significantly narrow down the list of people that it could potentially be. For a group that constantly shrieks about the importance of safety and anonymity for whistleblowers, they sure don't do a very good job of protecting it.

That kind of obsession can only be inspired by craving for a giant bulge.

Nah, I think they are afraid that Trump is going to hit on the Motherload of corruption,

2018 : Rudi Giuliani had a meeting with Victor Shokin, the investigator that Joe Biden pressured the Ukrainian Government into firing, this is something Joe Biden admitted on camera. Shokin was investigating a company that Joe Biden's son Hunter was on the board of called Bursima Holdings.

The CEO of Burisma Holdings Mykola Zlochevsky, had fled the country to avoid said investigation, only returning when Shokin's replacement (Yuriy Lutsenko), cleared Bursima of all wrongdoing.

Early 2019 January to March - Guiliani has several Meetings with Lutsenko, whose boss Petro Poroshenko was embroiled in an election and was expected to lose. After these meetings Lutsenko begins to talk about how The DNC asked the Ukraine to be a go-between between them and Russia in order to get information on Trump.

April 21 2019, Poroshenko gets his ass kicked in by Zelensky. Giuliani goes to Ukraine to speak with the new government.

May 9th - Giuliani goes to Ukraine for a meeting.

Mid May - Whistleblower begins to hear Rumors about Guiliani meeting with Ukraine, is told that Trump will only meet with the new Ukrainian president if "He plays ball." note the Whistleblower is hearing these rumors third hand, he is not a real witness.

June - Lutsenko gets shit canned by Zelensky.

Mid July - Whistleblower hears that Funds are getting witheld by Trump

Late July - THE PHONECALL OF DOOM! DRUMP IMPEACHMENT PROOFZ!

By the way, during all of this Trump fired the US Ambassador to The Ukraine, reportedly because she resisted investigations into the connections between the DNC and Ukraine during the 2016 election, all with Guiliani at the head of the investigations. Guiliani who started his political career as an Attorney General working on Government Corruption.

I totally wonder why Trump would ever have that stuff in an encrypted drive, it doesn't seem like Guiliani is looking for evidence of corruption in the Government at all to me.

That's literally what happened? Here's a DIRECT QUOTE from the complaint.

If you're going to believe the whistleblower complaint at this stage despite all of the evidence laid out to show that it's full of misinformation or outright lies, then we legitimately can't have an argument because we're on two diametrically-opposed viewpoints where the piece of evidence you're presenting is the piece of evidence I'm directly refuting. The White House says the transcript is accurate, as do all the other transcribers, as do all of the people who declassified and released the transcript, as does the President of the Ukraine who was actually present on the call.

I don't value the word of a third-party whistleblower who was not directly connected to the call over the word of all of the other people involved, especially not with how much of the complaint is filled with news articles and hearsay, I'm sorry. I think the complaint is an outright lie or that the whistleblower was intentionally fed misinformation, so referencing the complaint itself as evidence wouldn't get the two of us anywhere.

What, you mean the complaint that apparently is full of cold bullshit made by someone who wasn't there and supposedly told to them by someone who wasn't there?

Yeah, I'm sure anyone cares what this guy made up or what line of bullshit he was fed to smoke out a leaker.

You ain't the sharpest crayon in the Marine MRE, are you?

Whistle-Blower Is a C.I.A. Officer Who Was Detailed to the White House
His complaint suggested he was an analyst by training with an understanding of Ukrainian politics.

WASHINGTON — The whistle-blower who revealed that President Trump sought foreign help for his re-election and that the White House sought to cover it up is a C.I.A. officer who was detailed to work at the White House at one point, according to three people familiar with his identity.
The man has since returned to the C.I.A., the people said. Little else is known about him. His complaint made public Thursday suggested he was an analyst by training and made clear he was steeped in details of American foreign policy toward Europe, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of Ukrainian politics and at least some knowledge of the law.
The whistle-blower’s expertise will likely add to lawmakers’ confidence about the merits of his complaint, and tamp down allegations that he might have misunderstood what he learned about Mr. Trump. He did not listen directly to a July call between Mr. Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine that is at the center of the political firestorm over the president’s mixing of diplomacy with personal political gain.
Document: Read the Whistle-Blower Complaint
Sept. 26, 2019

Lawyers for the whistle-blower refused to confirm that he worked for the C.I.A. and said that publishing information about him was dangerous.
“Any decision to report any perceived identifying information of the whistle-blower is deeply concerning and reckless, as it can place the individual in harm’s way,” said Andrew Bakaj, his lead counsel. “The whistle-blower has a right to anonymity.”
The C.I.A. referred questions to the inspector general for the intelligence agencies. A spokeswoman for the acting director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire, said that protecting the whistle-blower was his office’s highest priority. “We must protect those who demonstrate the courage to report alleged wrongdoing, whether on the battlefield or in the workplace,” Mr. Maguire said at a hearing on Thursday, adding that he did not know the whistle-blower’s identity.
Dean Baquet, the executive editor of The New York Times, said The Times was right to publish information about the whistle-blower. “The role of the whistle-blower, including his credibility and his place in the government, is essential to understanding one of the most important issues facing the country — whether the president of the United States abused power and whether the White House covered it up.”
Agents, officers and analysts from the military, intelligence and law enforcement communities routinely work at the White House. Often, they work on the National Security Council or help manage secure communications, like calls between the president and foreign leaders.
The C.I.A. officer did not work on the communications team that handles calls with foreign leaders, according to the people familiar with his identity. He learned about Mr. Trump’s conduct “in the course of official interagency business,” according to the complaint, which was dotted with footnotes about machinations in Kiev and reinforced with public comments by senior Ukrainian officials.
8 TAKEAWAYS FROM THE WHISTLE-BLOWER COMPLAINT

Officials regularly shared information to “inform policymaking and analysis,” the complaint said. The complaint raises the prospect that the whistle-blower was not detailed to the White House either during the events in question or when he learned about them.
Mr. Trump took aim at the whistle-blower’s credibility on Thursday, attempting to dismiss his revelations because they were secondhand.

He also obliquely threatened the whistle-blower or his sources with punishment. “I want to know who’s the person who gave the whistle-blower the information because that’s close to a spy,” Mr. Trump told staff members from the United States Mission to the United Nations before an event there.
“You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart with spies and treason, right?” he added. “We used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”
On the call with Mr. Zelensky, Mr. Trump asked him to investigate unsubstantiated allegations of corruption against former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and his son and other matters he saw as potentially beneficial to him politically.

Mr. Trump cajoled Mr. Zelensky to coordinate with Attorney General William P. Barr and the president’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani, according to a reconstituted transcript of the call that the White House released on Wednesday. Mr. Zelensky, who was elected in April, agreed to help Mr. Trump. While Ukrainian prosecutors have moved to pursue an inquiry of an oligarch whose company paid Mr. Biden’s son Hunter, they did not allege wrongdoing by the Bidens.
The call with Mr. Zelensky was originally thought to be a routine matter, the complaint said, and the White House did not restrict it, meaning a number of officials and note takers listened.
But the whistle-blower said that afterward, White House officials “intervened to ‘lock down’ all records of the phone call,” putting them in a highly classified system meant for discussing covert actions. One White House official called that an abuse because the transcript contained no classified material.
Notes and rough transcripts of White House calls are typically stored on a computer system that allows senior officials in different departments and agencies to access them, to better coordinate policy.
Some White House colleagues told the whistle-blower that they were concerned they had witnessed “the president abuse his office for personal gain,” according to the complaint.
His complaint went beyond the call. During his time at the White House, the whistle-blower became deeply unnerved about how he believed Mr. Trump was broadly seeking to pressure the Ukrainian government to conduct investigations that could benefit him politically.
“Namely, he sought to pressure the Ukrainian leader to take actions to help the president’s 2020 re-election bid,” the complaint said of Mr. Trump.
After the call, multiple officials told the whistle-blower that future talks between Mr. Trump and Mr. Zelensky would depend on whether the Ukranians would “play ball” on the investigations he sought.
The whistle-blower, who lodged his concerns with the inspector general for the intelligence community, has identified at least a half-dozen government officials — including several who work for the White House — who he believes can substantiate his claims. The inspector general has interviewed some of them and found the whistle-blower’s claims credible.

tl;dr It's all Jesus jumping over 50 monster trucks on a flaming dolphin with his monster cock in one hand and an M-16 in other while flanked by bald eagles with ginormous erections carrying big tiddy hoes spraying weak ass beer from their chest kegs.
This is the most American thing I've ever read and I have read the bill of rights off an Asian jerk off joint hostesses ass.
:semperfidelis: OOH RAH my nigga.

It is up to the Republicans to decide of Trump will be Impeached or not. The Democrats can bitch and moan all they want. It takes 60 votes from the current Senate to Impeach Trump and the Republicans own 53 seats. It won't happen. Trump has made many of them too damned rich as well as the corporations the Senators represent.

King Maker is the term that is happening right now and the Democrats can't do one damned thing about it. They blew it so bad in 2018 that they lost Senate seats to the Republicans instead of gaining any.

So good fucking luck on trying to impeach this asshole. It ain't going to happen.
