From PapaBattles in discord matching the shipping weight to the Amazon shipping weight and the first comment could possibly be Phils feedback. Phil did mention it took him an hour to put it together.

1 hr, had to return "or was defect" ya thats phil alright. this whole scenario is one big joke. all this nonsense over a 100 dollar bike. what a joke...should just toss that shit in the trash if its causing you that much stress phil, hell its causing you to not stream and lose income! you prolly lost more than youd saved by now, but youre a fkin idiot so you wouldnt realize that

The comment saying 1hr doesn't seem like Phil, to me at least, because of the way he uses space before punctuations.
He could've been mad or something, however, so I don't know. Just grain of salt.

This bike thing was a huge missed opportunity. Instead of having to cancel a stream where he lost money he should have done a stream attempting to take the bike apart. Between the people who get off paying to walk Phil through shit one step at a time and those who get off "trolling" Phil with cash attached, thus nullifying any hurt feeling, he would have made bank with no downside. Ah who am I kidding even suggesting Phil would do something interesting.

I wish we would have created a thread which followed the Exercise Bike saga and documented everything Phil said and did. Now it's really hard to link the facts together.
But who would have guessed simple shit like this would conclude in this vortex of autism? Then we could also create a thread each time Phil scratches his ass.
  1. Khet gets money for birthday from Phil's parents. Her birthday seems to be on September 6, thanks Phil.
  2. Khet orders exercise bike from Amazon. It's an "not too expensive" one.
  3. Either Phil assembled it or it came assembled (conflicting sources). But I remember reading "The instructions were all in Asian, ack ack ack"? So it had to be Phil unless I dreamed up this part.
Confirmed by Phil (I watch GTG right now): Phil assembled the bike, by his words. It was frustrating to build it, as the manual was written in "some asian, like taiwanese".
  4. Bike breaks after 1 or 2 uses (conflicting sources).
  5. Instead of disassembling the bike to easily ship it back to Amazon, Phil "Hard Worker" Burnell refuses to do that. Either he is too lazy, has thrown away every tool (fool if he did that) or hasn't assembled it in the first place. How long would it take to disassemble an already broken exercise bike? 10 minutes max?

Now here is where the real autism starts.

  6. Phil commissions PilotFreight to pick up the still fully assembled bike to send it back to Amazon. For several reasons this never worked for approximately three days in a row (missing sources). Phil of course adds PilotFreight to the @ in his Tweets.
    The truck's tire got flat.
The driver got sick (so do they have just one driver? Sounds odd.)

  7. Phil apparently cancels whole streams for two phone calls and because he has to wait for the transport company to ring his door bell.

  8. Imprisons his cat Jasper in a room for several hours so it won't flee when he opens the front door. Wauw.

  9. Turns out Phil cancels stream because he won't hear the doorbell during streams...

VALEDICTORIAN can't adapt to that unchanging fact! Except it's entirely controlable. It's a simple problem, there are solutions!
    - Keep the door to the office open, don't wear headphones or reduce the volume (or both).
    - Tell them to give you a phone call when they arrive. But Phil HATES to get calls during stream, which was already the main reason why he couldn't sell his old condo.

  10. Five hours ago, the bike is finally out of the house.
I guess Phil did nothing wrong and everything correct.
Except nearly everything.

Technically phil didn’t commission that company. It was all through amazon and that company specifically because dark refused to take it apart

Also might as well add in the facts that
1. Dark apparently called amazon for kats order and asked for the refund(why can’t can’t call amazon herself and handle her own shit who knows)
2. When amazon responded with the fact that they would need to get the bike back before giving the refund he said “that’s a hassle”
3. After that company bailed on him the first time he called crying to amazon and wrangled some amazon credit out of them

Neger was right, guess it doesn’t hurt to open threads for seemingly minor things. Who knows when Phil will go full retard with it

really it boils down to this, phil whines and cries about needing money, constantly overdrawn. khet gets 100 bucks (guess she cant put that in phils bank cause theyre so clearly in love and would take a bullet for eachother but not some paper money). proceeds to use this disposable income on a cheapo bike. bike breaks down
phil then spends more money getting the bike out of his house and returned. and then cancels streams which wouldve netted him actual profits.

hes either a fucking retard who shouldnt handle any money at all or hes lying about how much he actually makes and how bad his situation really is. fat fuck eats out once a week. dont think ive ever heard him saying about having to get cheap groceries like hotdogs and ramen. everytime i turn around its new this new that, i got a cake, and new games.

all whilst refusing to sell anything of his to make up for his struggling times or wanting to cutback living expenses. phil is downright a PIECE OF HUMAN GARBAGE

If this has been said prior then my apologies:

Phil lives in a gated community. The freight company theoretically would have to inform Phil they are at the gate so they could buzz them in. Once you know they are past the gate, you wait for them. The doorbell would not even factor in.

But this is Dark we are talking about. He said that he can't hear the doorbell in this office which is likely true. Remember DSP tells the truth of random little details and makes that central to his defense.

He wants the ♿ to focus on the doorbell not the gate because he wanted the excuse not to stream.

Miserable. Just miserable.

Neger was right, guess it doesn’t hurt to open threads for seemingly minor things. Who knows when Phil will go full exceptional individual with it
It really is a shot in the dark with this guy sometimes, if you told me the reason he was late on stream one day would turn into this bike mini arc I would’ve dismissed it as tin foil hat shit(mostly because the thought of DSP willingly putting together an exercise machine sounds like complete fiction)

Maybe I’ll try and keep an eye on when these things are worth threads, but I almost exclusively save my kiwi and lolcow watching for my phone, so it’s hard to turn away from developing train wrecks to come check the farms lol

He spends $120 per week going out to eat now and he's "broke."

No way he was spending less than $500 per week in his heyday.
And that's just food. Found this unboxing playlist (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL88568E2F747DFF0E) and the money he wasted on collectors editions must have been insane. Why the fuck would he need the Epic Mickey collectors edition? He bought two copies of Modern Warfare 3 the collectors on Ps3 and standard on 360. Guess it doesn't matter when you have "unlimited funds"...until you don't.

I recall Phil saying he used to make all or the vast majority of his money back on the Collector's Editions just by doing the unboxing videos alone. I think it was one of those areas that drew in extra views for him and he realised it had nothing at all to do with his revolting presence.. kids just wanted to see the useless extra stuff (it says made in taiwan dood!) they threw into these editions and his cropped up near the top for a while.

Yeah, there are certain circumstances in the life of DSP that might blow up into a decent thread; they generally seem to involve expenses Phil specifies apart from his daily bills and taxes and/or having to deal with people who are not Kat. Or those might just be the times I notice he's not droning on about the same shit day after day.

Going back to the question of 'where did Phil' s fuck you money go?' really quick: i was recently re-watching an older Tevin back in time stream about the move.

The amount of money he blew not only on the move itself (full service door to door, basically only had to pack and unpack the boxes) is mind blowing!

Keep in mind, he went on a full on vacation to Seattle for the house hunting (mis-) adventures, ofc all cataloged on YouTube to flex on his fans amd squeeze $$$ out of the deal for views.

For the move itself pigshit really hit the fan tho and he was throwing money around like a manic individual. Also his illusions of grandeur really show there, basically this is a vlog series of a grown adult documenting for, dunno 10? 14? days being 'soooo busy' and 'tired' because him and his Lolita bride are running around spending money all day. Much like the previous vacation Playlist every meal and purchase has to be flexed into his viewer's faces and documented for precious youtube revenue.
