Citation needed for Justin Cook. I will say the comparison is a tad hyperbolic. But I WILL concede, Dub VAs and VAs as a whole are a tough job to do. You need to find an acceptable voice for the role, and then also need to provide an acceptable take. I'd say knowing what we know now though, it is tough being a VA in west, cause like the pay given is absolutely horrifying and probably would never have been brought to light now instead of later down the road, if not for this whole thing.

The problem I have is two things.
Objectifying men
Even though they are anime characters its still disgusting that her attitude towards the opposite sex is "lets smear some oil on them and have them wrestle" pinning a man against man for your gratification is sexist.

Truly impressive how well this works towards their fellow gross yaoi obsessed fujo, yet it's totally a case of "not being a problem when they do it," which they love to do whenever this kind of stuff comes up.

You know it is fucking amazing how it is fujos that made me go from a koolaid drinker to spitting out that koolaid. I remember a guy on Gaiaonline(please dont judge it was 13 or so years ago) that was showing the hypocrisy of fujos liking their anime characters while shitting on guys liking their waifus. Now honestly I had clicked on this topic ready to "defend milady", but after reading the topic, that kind of led me down some rabbit holes.

Never been quite the same since that day. I started going to extended discussions and started seeing more real world topics that had very weird coincidences of being with similar standards.

I think what originally sold it was the people on the site he quoted came in and defended their double standards. Funny enough I still remember his username to this day.

The biggest issue I have with interviewing Soye is that it'd be impossible to get honest answers from him. I can't speak for everyone, but personally, I don't like being lied to; however, lying is all Soye does. Why should I bother interviewing a liar who won't give a honest answer?

His criticisms of ISWV youtubers is more from the fact that he thinks they are profiting off Vic's misfortune rather than being true supporters. He's not wrong that they are taking the opportunity to profit from this whole thing but even so, their exposure to the case and their videos have been invaluable for drumming up support for Vic so while he's right that they are profiting off the case, it's not like they aren't contributing anything towards it. Even if most of what they say is regurgitated stuff from Nick's streams, they still provide better data and details than KV ever has or will and Vic needs all the support he can get.

I'm not sure if he did but his beef with HH is more personal rather than the fact that HH is ISWV. From my understanding, HH said that MBA is an emotional dude one day at a con or something and MBA didn't like that and thought HH was talking shit about him so he started a personal beef with him. It's the same reason why Senpai turned on HH too. Although if we talk about MBA any more, we may need to move on over to the MBA thread. There might be more details there.
