Containment Random Chris Updates

Bob died at 84 and the average life expectancy for males in North America is 76, so he managed to live longer than average despite having a pretty unhealthy lifestyle almost 30 years after retirement. For females, it's 81, but Barb was/is more sedentary than Bob was and suffered from obesity until only fairly recently in her life. My roundabout guess for how old she'll be when her candle blows out is 83.
I agree, but bitter old crones like barb are almost guaranteed a long, unhappy life. Something in them just refuses to let go of living despite having nothing to live for except to spite others. Unless Barb just drops dead of a stroke or heart attack she's going to slowly wither away for decades to come.

Of course, I'm just focusing on physical maladies there. I will fully put my stamp on Barb going full senile by age 83. Her mind is rotting faster than her body.

I don't think it matters to him all that much in the long term if G4 is ending. He's been collecting since G1 (and he's got a nostalgia boner for 80s merch driven shows like Transformers), and will most likely still try to keep himself wedged in the fandom for the same reasons he tried to keep himself wedged in Manchester High. Both represent the only times in his life where he wasn't excessively rejected by people and had somewhat meaningful human interactions.
Chris was ostriciszed by his peers in high school save for his "gal pals" who only stayed him to virtue signal and say "look how nice we are to the poor little Autistic kid" or they were paid off by the adults to do it, now he's now a pariaha from almost every fandom he's been associated with as best as they can say "he's not affiliated with us" because he embodies every negitive stereotype of being a fan of geek chic, overweight, childish, creepy, perverted or formerly perverted and overly dependent/clingy even when others say to leave them alone.

it was the latter, if I remember correctly. They were not happy to spend more time with Chris than they had to. Chris even found out about it at some point afterwards.

Technically it was both but they only stayed for the money the virtue signaling was just a bonus but they cared more about the cash...huh so not that different from people who virtue signal today.

Even though his gal pals were friends with him mainly out of pity, the point is that Chris believed that it was out of genuine interest. One of his biggest flaws is that he often remembers past events based on how he felt emotionally at the time rather than looking at it from an adult perspective. It’s the same situation at MAGfest or BronyCon: it doesn’t matter if Chris is only known for his antics as a lolcow, the fact that he was treated like a celebrity is all he cares about.

If you had no context at all about who Chris was, and you saw him dawdling about a convention center getting stopped every 10 minutes to take a selfie with some randos, you would probably just assume they were just another eccentric YouTuber or something.

Chris isn’t what I’d call a pariah as those people are actively shunned. Chris might be an annoyance but he still has people going out of their way to interact with him.

Only because times have changed. Before Bob's death, Chris understood that people didn't like him, and mostly nothing has changed except for all the herpty derp with social justice, and also Chris has lost whatever objective and abstract reasoning he once had.
After TMG, he was on social media crowing about how he's a widely loved celebrity, and that celebrities get treated badly instead of realizing that no one wants a 6' foot ape with autism in their space kissing them. Chris doesn't understand why it's wrong for a 6 foot ape with mud butt to go around kissing people, he just understands you'll get in trouble for it, and then he continues thinking everyone loves him because some weirdos went up to a meme and ask for a photograph.

It’s cherry picking fallacy. Chris’s brain has learned to just completely tune out every single negative interaction. Even if 97% of his socialization attempts end up being awkward, he’ll just overplay the 3% that didn’t blow up in his face.

As for why he doesn’t get that giving strangers unwanted kisses is a huge social faux pas, it’s mainly because his mental self image is that of an attractive, blue haired, lovably geeky 19 year old girl. It’s like how the main character in Precious copes with her shit life by seeing herself as an attractive white girl rather than an obese ebony-black meatball. He understands that cute girls at conventions get away with that sort if behavior, so he assumes “Gee golly, I can do that too!”

Then again he is shunned/punished when even the most tolerant of people reach their limits just look at the blocking saga or the eventual result of TMG he was told to leave and when he had to face people's negitive opinion on him he just curled up and tried to ignore it or blew up in fit after fit of tard rage
