As an amateur writer I think I'm gonna use this comic as a means to remind myself that no matter how shit my stuff feels at the very fucking least I'm not so up-my-own-ass as This comic and it's writer.
C'mon, I'm sure you can give yourself higher praise then saying "at least I'm a better writer then Lily Orchard", that's like saying "at least I have more self control then that kid who constantly eats glue". Comparing yourself to lolcows is setting an extremely low bar and should be beneath everyone on this site, plus, it can lead to A-Logging, which is never a good thing. I'm not sure who said it, but if anyone feels the need to compare themselves to lolcows to make themselves feel better, they should work on bettering their own lives first before criticizing others.
Sorry to come of like an ass, but looking over this thread sometimes I feel like it needs to be said every now and again, and that goes for me and my Eevee spurging too. Besides, I' m fairly certain you're a better writer because I wouldn't call Lily writer, she just find things that make her mad or panders to her views and then talks about them, very little actual critical thinking involved.
Ah, right that does sound like where Lily would be heading with this. But if that's the case, wouldn't Gardevoir be aware of Lily giving "dream consent", being a mega powerful psychic pokemon and all? If so, why didn't she mention it when Lily was flipping out when she first told her or...I dunno, any point after. Even if she isn't aware of this "dream consent" then it still means Gardevoir was ready and willing to do this "mind-fuck" without Lilys consent but just happened to get it anyway, which is still kinda messed up and implies Gardevoir's kind of a pseudo-rapist.
The only way I can see Lily making Gardevoir completely blameless in all this is if she did ask Lily for consent in her dream, which she gave, and Gardevoir just doesn't remember it. Which is a pretty weak ass pull if I do say so myself, especially since a psychic pokemon should have pretty good mental fortitude and would probably remember that, but Lily will throw in some weak ass plot reason no doubt. Lastly, this also means she technically, willingly, madeout with her Gardevoir, yes, I'm counting it even though it was in a dream because, in this scenario, both people would have all their faculties together and be perfectly aware of their surrounds at the time, it wouldn't be just random dream madness.
So, yeah, after over half a year of jumping through hoops, breaking up with her girlfriend because she probably didn't want to draw this shit, and working Mikala hard for comparably little to nothing in return, Lily finally got her wish-fulfillment of making out with a Gardevoir with plenty of rhetoric to "justify" it to all her batshit fans about how they're not actually making out. The only question now is, why go through all this? What urge did Lily have the couldn't be satisfied by just having Mikala draw her some porn of this shit? Did she want to prove that she could have her character make out with a Pokemon and get people to call it good writing? What was that quote Lily stole from Yahtzee so long ago? "You could wipe your ass with a sheet of Megaman sprites and someone on the internet would call it brilliant"! If so, then damn, it is freaking poetic that Lily's internet career has finally come full circle, she started with ripping of Zero-Punctuation and ended up working to prove Yahtzee right...not that anyone asked her to.

Honestly, I dont have much pity for Lily's current set of girlfriends (except for maybe the 19 year old, she seems way too young to be involved with Lily).
Mikaila is making a conscious choice to draw these comics (including shit like Violate and the Gardevoir kiss). She's an adult, if she didn't want to draw these comics she could make the choice not to. Besides, her art really isn't even that good.

We can only wait and see what happens and what we find out. We don’t actually know much about any of them except maybe Mikaila and that’s just because of the comic. So far the character of them seems to be Mikaila as the harsh and in the spotlight one, Carousel a bit nicer but we don’t actually know much about her and Ginger seems to be the smartest or the most naive because she’s the least involved with any controversial things. Not sure which.

This is far from the first time Lily's belittled the working class. If I had to take a guess, it's her way of coping with the fact that she's never put in an honest day of work in her life. Pretty much her entire adult career has been on the Internet and her only source of income has been from being a cartoon reviewer and streamer with a niche audience. Outside of entertaining this niche audience (who probably would be better off if they never discovered her) she has done nothing to contribute to society or help people as a whole. A person who put in an honest week of work in a coal mine, or performing any other form of labor, has probably contributed more to the world then Lily ever has at this point.
I'm sure someone at some-point in her past has pointed this out to her, and as a defense mechanism, she's convinced herself on some level that workers and laborers are just cogs in some "capitalist machine" she created in her head. So that way their she can say that their "work" is actually negatively impacting society because it's for the benefit of some capitalist boggie man she created, though after Trump got elected she's also thrown "fascist" around here and there. Same shit either way.
At least that's what I've gathered from occasionally skimming her Tumblr posts. I could be way off, but I wouldn't be surprised if what she believed was something along those lines. It's sort of an explanation I came up with to explain why people who spend all their free time playing "Twitter Warrior" do what they do.
