Phil has to treat streaming as a draining and difficult 9-5 because he despises other people, even providing responses to people giving him money annoys him. If he didn't treat his streams as some behind-the-scenes access to his super successful cahntent creation business that he is magnanimous enough to allow people the privilege of attending he would risk having to treat streaming like what it is: people hanging out and conversing with each other and you while you play video games.

At best he considers his viewers an On-Demand-FAQ, though usually he treats them as an entirely new group of faceless people who show up everyday.

This is why his livestreams will always just be 'Surveillance-style footage of Philip Burnell making videos for Youtube'. Sometimes he throws a Narc ego teen-girl rant where he says "Talk to MEEE! REEE!" but he doesn't want to talk to anyone, he wants to be the only focus of what people are typing in chat.

I think it got lost because of the exceptional DJRuno rant, or maybe it's just lore that I hadn't heard before, but I thought it was telling a few minutes after the rant when someone tipped him, and DSP talked for a couple minutes about how he wishes he could just turn the webcam off, kick his feet up, and play Mass Effect 2.

So, why can't you just do that, DSP?

He said that he's wanted to play Mass Effect 2 for four years but he "can't" because other people don't want to see it.

Since when?

His fans would want him to play whatever he wants and his trolls don't care what he plays.

It's like DSP has convinced himself that he has some large casual audience that tunes in and out depending on the game, despite the fact that he has the same range of viewers no matter what.

Keep in mind, this is the same man that played GTA3 and GTA4 in 2019. Because "Youtube muted his videos." Youtube is only an archive though.

So why can't DSP turn off his webcam and play Mass Effect 2 as a "chill night stream"?

It utterly fascinates me just what DSP convinces himself of in regards to what he "can or can't" do regarding streaming considering he literally can make any decision that he wants about what games to play and what hours he can work; yet he still finds a way to make himself unhappy.

He never experiments either.

Tevin says this about once a week when DSP brings up his ACE certification. Why can't he apply that training to his own business if he was so godly at applying it to the business he worked for in 2010?

Twitch is basically an unemployment check.

He's a 37 year old man. Phil rolls out of bed, unshowered, unshaven, in his boxer shorts. He plays video games all day. Then he drinks and watches wrestling until 4am. Every day he gets free money.

This is hard work to him.

Small example of how easy he has it.

Normal people drive to work. What if a tire blows out? What if a belt in the engine breaks? What if someone rear ends me? What if..? Solution. Tell everyone you can't drive because sitting down for more than 5 minutes sends you into convulsions and you will kill everyone. (Please ignore the fact he sits for hours every day)

Phil is terrified of drinking anything harder than Santa's Butt ale on stream because he knows his filter will be disabled and during a rant out will fly "faggot" and "nigger" which is the real reason he gnaws his fingers whenever an African is on screen...because he wants to say it so bad but knows it'll get him booted from Twitch

It's not sitting down that affects him, it's highway speeds.

Ignore relativity negating the effects of roadspeed on people inside the vehicle, it doesn't exist. Detractors made it up.

Yea, Phil, I'm sure you do. You're just too lazy to refill some empty 2L bottle of water once a day. You'd probably say you don't have time for that because you're a married man and shit, but you somehow have time to recycle small individual plastic bottles? Smh

I bet his office looks like a fucking mess with all those crunched water bottles laying on his floor/table which he doesn't bother to pick up during his break

And that's why console manufacturers mandate updates. We all have to sit for 10-15 minutes every few months when we could be playing games because of assholes like Phil.

Anything to pad out those billable hours. It's a good thing Phil doesn't have an actual job, else he'd be that dickhead that clocked in half an hour early every day only to take a 45-minute shit.
