If she's trying to entice Mike Stoklasa to discuss Star Trek with her by sperging out about it on twitter then it really shows how delusional she is; she can't fathom that applying woke social justice bullshit to old TV shows would be a turn-off for some people.
And all the Star Trek videos that Mike and Rich have made in the last few years (with the exception of their video where they talk about what they want from the Picard series) features Mike making derisive jokes about the new woke bullshit in the latest iterations and most of their videos in general have non-PC humour.
I really want to hear her give her opinion on the humour in the Plinkett reviews and on Best of the Worst; how funny did she find Mike joking about blacks stealing his TV, women only being good for birthing men, imprisoning and murdering prostitutes, Rich's "Tranny Tracker 5000" jokes, objectifying women in the films they watch and them shredding the female Ghostbusters film.
She's a massive hypocrite who's willing to turn a blind eye to things she'd crucify others for just because she wants to get her foot in RLM's door and use them to move up the eceleb ladder.
You know, it's never gonna happen, but just for a minute, imagine Allison would join RLM and appear on BOTW or Half in the Bag like Jack or Rich sometimes do... how would this turn out?
A fucking desaster, and I'm not talking about the content. She'd soon start a stupid feud with someone (most likely Rich) and then get pissed, when no one rushes to her aid to kick out the meany that made a joke she didn't like in a conversation that she wasn't even part of.
Allison is a toxic person, through and through. It became obvious when she got involved in Spoony's meltdown, it became blatantly painful when she left CA and it is now even worse than ever after CTC didn't lead to Doug and his assmonkey brother to turn up dead from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
It's simply unthinkable that someone would hire or partner up with Lupa and it not ending in a shitstorm.
Which makes the CTC debacle all the more entertaining. Lupa achieved part of her goal, she ruined CA, but at the cost exposing herself as the grudge-holding harpy that she is. No one will ever want a piece of that. She made herself absolutely unemployable in order to fuel a feud that no one gave a shit about a month after it was over.
And the "leaps forward in many social issues"? Fuck that. Trek was always strongly down with the diversity compared to the era it was made in. There were women and black people on the show since the 60's. The only bold leaps forward on social issues Discovery has taken compared to the rest of the series is justifying war crimes.
When you really think about it, Discovery's supposed "woke"ness is completely lackluster. You have a black female lead. Whoopdeedoo. Now, if only that meant anything in this day and age. It's like they want to be seen as stunning, brave and doing something hitherto unseen, when they walk on the well-trodden-trail of token characters.
Compare that to a Japanese character only half a generation after WW2. Compare that to a Russian character at the height of the cold war. Compare that to a black main character right after the Jim Crow laws were abolished. Compare that to the first interracial kiss, ffs. And I could go on an on with political statements, such as being dangerously communist in its portrayal of the ideal future society... the point is: TOS took many risks. It took great risks. And we haven't even yet begun to talk about the other shows, which also addressed some major issues in meaningful ways.
Discovery takes no risks whatsoever with anything. It screams a conformist opinion into a void of identical opinions. It's not stunning or brave or anything.
It's what in Germany has recently been called "Gratismut" or cost-free courage. It's something that pretends to be bold and brave, when it is in fact, just virtue signaling in support of something, everybody else already supports.
