The majority of anime youtubers come in two flavors. Egotistical social justice wankers who seem to hate anime more than they like it like Geoff and Lachlan, and incel MGTOW's who love to fap to anime titties and rant about feminism like Raging Golden Eagle. Both suck, both constantly shoehorn their politics into things where they don't need to.

Once you've eliminated those (like 70% of animetubers) things get a bit better, but you've still got your clueless weeb thots like itsanimegirl and your pompous douchebags who act like they're the God Emperor of Weebs, like Digibro. Gigguk is sometimes funny, Lost Pause is sometimes funny, Totally Not Mark occasionally makes interesting observations. Plague of Gripes' anime videos are actually pretty good because on top of having interesting observations, he actually has some self-awareness about being a pompous douchebag and is usually trolling on purpose, unlike Digibro, which actually makes it funny.

That's not how you get big on youtube though, and as far as I can tell this is especially true for anituber. With how much focus seasonal anime gets in the current western anime fandom, there isn't much incentive for anitubers to talk about anime from the '80s, '90s, or hell even the '00s.

I'm not saying I think anituber shouldn't talk about old or obscure anime, I personally wish more would talk more about manga myself. It's just that from a cynical business perspective there isn't much reason to talk about old or obscure anime or manga.

Glass Reflection is too rambling for my taste, but not offensively bad, at least the little of him I've watched. Something about the guy's delivery and personality puts me to sleep, so I've barely seen any of his stuff.

Anime America actually isn't too bad. Kind of shallow coverage of mostly mainstream stuff, but the main girl of that group has reasonably entertaining delivery and okay analysis.
