Like many have said: waiting for an announcement regarding appeals. Not really mad at anyone. There was sloppy work by Ty, but the judge's ruling was just lazy. The defense was also pretty exceptional. So ... eh.

Digging through Sabat, currently - that dude has potential to be entertaining. Especially given the shit that he's been doing with Stephanie Nadolney - should be interesting.

3. Him being a possible closet gay and his hate on Vic being derived from an unreciprocated attraction.
4. The voice actor mafia shit.
5. The closet gay thing also being the reason for the bipolar homophobia he tends to present.

All in all yeah he seems to be a great source of milk.

During Nick's stream last night, he mentioned he is making a short video about how to be an "anime mafia don" which will feature screenshots and that we can "noodle over what that means" while giving, what is in my opinion, a sly look.

It's at 10:25. Speculations?

I'm hoping he has more than screenshots. Either someone is ready to verify them or he has a way to authenticate them.

Though if he times it correctly, he could give Rooster Teeth another black eye by overshadowing RWBY's premiere. (Sabat does voice work for them.)

I would love to see RT's personalities try to defend keeping Sabat while letting Vic go.

As to the material? Hmm. Not sure. Conventions coming forward? Maybe Sabats wife is tired of his shit at conventions? Assistant got turned down for a raise? IT guys decide to fuck with Sabat? Anything is a possibility right now.

I was peeking at his twitter yesterday to see if he said anything about the situation. And, I just, he too seems like an over-all nice fellow.
Why are they targeting seemingly kind, normal, VA's. But do nothing about the fuckin' weirdoes?
There is of course a chance there is a conspiracy involved, but, even then.....it is utterly counter-productive. In the end there would be no nice VA's left, and you'd be stuck with, well, whatever's left .....

I do feel like yesterday's gay ops was testing the waters.

Yeah, I don't believe this. The phrasing isn't that of someone penitent for being stupid, this hits every single bingo square for what people would say about this instead. I think the original person deleted when they got caught, and another person jumped on the opportunity to pose as them. Otherwise they would have posted this before deleting, or have posted this apology on their main account.

It's been announced like a month ago, but the new One Piece film is coming out to theaters very soon, and I'm honestly torn because everything from FUNimation has been soured because of this. I'm leaning more towards seeing the sub than the dub at this point (even though it might not even matter because money will still fill up FUNimation's pockets), but I checked to see if Sabo is in the movie and he is, they just haven't stated who's to be the new voice actor.

I'm seriously bummed by this. I only got into the series a couple years ago, mere months after Gold came out, so I have yet to see it on the big screen. I was hoping this would be my first time seeing a One Piece movie alongside my brothers, but with this being a giant Zou in the room...

I located an old photobucket of his, which contained, essentially some random shirtless, and..other'ish semi-naked men.
Never found any good context for them, or titles that would indicate why he saved a bunch of pictures like that.
Perhaps he likes having options, closet bi? I mean he is married and has kids, there is no proof he ever done anything gay aside rape-dubs.

I'm just happy that I am able to own the entirety of the series (in Japanese language and uncut) legally and in one cohesive set. I had only been asking for that for 20 years.

If Viz had just released the series with no English dub, I would have been a really happy camper, tbh. Original Japanese version is forever and always SAILOR MOON to me.

It's certainly a complex situation. But remember that there are a lot of people at Funimation who are neutral on this shit and just trying to make a living -- they probably aren't very happy with Sagat the fagat and his casting couch crew. There are even pro-Vic people who are leaking information to Nick and Ty, too.
