Sophie Labelle Verville / Guillaume Labelle / Serious Trans Vibes Comics / Assigned Male / Candycore Comics / Pastel Sexy Times / WafflesArt - Obnoxious webcomics and horrific porn by a crazy fat pedo troon

The better question is: are they actual autists, or "lol I'm so weird and quirky but it's ok I self-diagnosed a poorly understood disorder look how interesting I am" autists? Because the second is the same group that would troon out for attention.
I think it's a bit of both.

A lot of the reasons posed above are why I think a lot of autistic people are trans or why so many become ridiculous troons. Of course, you will have genuine autistic people who are trans but a lot will just think of being trans as a quick fix to their lack of understanding of society.

The slightly socially anxious (usually) gen z girl who is coming to terms with being gay/bi and in the past would have just been heavily into goth culture seems to now think you can cuss out at the world by exaggerating your completely normal human traits into being mental health conditions and transness. The amount of people I knew when I was young who were anxious, bisexual, emo kids who are now munchie, pronoun bending, illness collecting autists is truly outstanding.

Also I know detransitioning has been mentioned earlier in this thread and all over the farms but this news report is really interesting. I cannot find the link online but I seen stats recently which had the figured of people being referred to trans clinic skyrocket, again - not really a bad thing as less stigma means more people can come out but the stats for mtf and autistic people who were transitioning were in crazy numbers.

Yeah, there's been growing evidence that suggests that for some teen girls, being trans is legit a social contagion. Combining discomfort with their bodies changing through puberty and an increasingly loud social narrative that tells them women are always victims, are always second-class and always going to suffer at the hands of the patriarchy, these girls are deciding they don't want that future and are trying to become men instead. Especially prone to this are, of course, the autistic ones, but also the ones who are trying to deal with same-sex attraction to any degree, or if there's a strong personality in their social network or school who has decided they're a troon.

It's why you can call Tumblr a legitimate vector for mental illness, because that sort of shit spreads especially among girls.

So while they'll act like they're trying to live their yaoi fantasy, or skip the fag hag stage and become the fag themselves, the social conditioning that leads women to hate their bodies is now coming up against the fact that the internet now offers this great new solution - trooning out. And in their haste to seem woke, places like the UK and Canada are making it easier and easier for teenagers to cause permanent damage to themselves in the name of gender identity, often at ages where they're not allowed to get tattoos, or drink, or even make any other medical decision for themselves except for this one.

It's funny - there was a muslim's tweet about how in the western world it's acceptable for 9-year-olds to know they are trans, but not acceptable for the Prophet Mohammad to marry a 9-year-old. And it's fucked up, but it does make the correct point about how these are permanent decisions children should not be making - and inadvertently for the guy himself, that it is connected to allowing pedophilia under the guise of children's choices about their bodily autonomy.

A point that LaBelle pretends so strongly is not a glaring subtext of her comic, even though it's now primarily her usual strawman troon arguments set against the background of her characters' romantic lives, along with implied sex, even though they look and act like, at best, tweens, no matter what age she pretends they are.

I mostly agree with you, but I strongly disagree that it's just a "social narrative" that women are victimized by men/patriarchy. We live in a world where one in five women and girls will be raped in her lifetime, one in four women will suffer severe physical abuse at the hands of a partner, one in seven will be stalked by a partner or former partner (statistics from NCADV), and DV-related homicides are on the rise. Three women are murdered by their intimate partners every single day in the US (source). All of these partners are, obviously, virtually exclusively male. And that's not getting into the number of women living in / dealing with abusive partners, controlling partners, etc. And young girls seeing their mothers suffer all of this. Not to mention unrealistic and degrading depictions of women and girls in porn, which is increasingly accessible to younger and younger kids. The thing isn't that there's some kind of "victimhood narrative" or something, it's that due to the prevalence of the internet, we are more aware of these issues than we ever were before. Younger girls than ever are aware of the way women in society are treated, and they seek to escape that. Many of them have already been victimized when they decide that "going trans" will protect them, as rape and other related crimes are far more likely to be committed against women than men. Anyone else remember that case of the transman who was raped by a taxi driver and couldn't understand why it had happened because she told the taxi driver she identified as male?

These women have actually been harmed by a society that degrades and harms women. It's not all in their heads. Or all in the heads of society as a collective. Honestly, the biggest problem of social narrative is that modern/present-day "feminism" point-blank refuses to do anything about these issues and instead focuses on how women can be "empowered" by participating in their own oppression and how we can put rainbows and flower crowns on the things that harm women to make them okay.

They don't realize they're exchanging the shitty treatment women in general get for the shitty treatment manlets and betas get, just like the equally defective men don't realize they're trading the pains of being a failure as a man for the pains of being a fat, ugly woman.

I'm struck by just how useless Frank is as a character in this comic. Labelle has described him as Muslim solely for woke points and he has no real personality or role in the story other than to agree with Stephie and occasionally be wrong so she can correct him. Sometimes he appears and says nothing at all, existing solely to give Stephie someone to speak to. Other times like in the "why are so many trans kids autistic" comic he exists to ask a question so Stephie can answer it, but also to agree Stephie is awesome at the end.

In most of these cases, Frank could be eliminated entirely and nothing would change. Comics often feature Stephie lecturing an unseen character who exists only as a straw man speech bubble while other times Stephie just outright speaks to the audience. If Stephie started dating Aahan the Jain or Hakhamanish the Zoroastrian, the comic's dynamic wouldn't change at all.

I could literally replace Frank with Doug walker and nothing would change.

We used to joke about scout masters being sexual predators and here LaBelle is touting it like it's a good thing. There is only one kind of person that would hold a "everyone do your best Desmond impression" contest and it's not someone you'd want walking freely with the general public. Jesus H. Christ LaBelle what's next Ceil meets his new love interest that just happens to be a 40 year old dude? I seriously give it 6 months, at least, and that is going to happen.

I really don't want to start another "how oppressed are people, really" argument, but I find this a good enough jumping off point to talk about the general shit Labelle peddles. Statistics are often misguiding, you provided evidence for women with no comparable evidence for men, I distinctly remember hearing that the 1 in 5 rape statistic is massively overblown. But you don't even need to point out that the statistics are misguiding to see the fault in this argument. The argument is that "women are oppressed" and your response is "1 in 4 women are oppressed". 80% of women never have to worry about rape in their entire lifetime, the remaining 20% usually need only worry about it once. A woman is more likely to die of cancer than suffer any sort of abuse, in America. You might as well say that breast cancer is oppressive.

Labelle and other SJWs want to push the idea that there is an active group of people trying to oppress women. That women, in general, are victims of a society that is specifically and intentionally harmful to women. "Three women are murdered by their intimate partners every single day in the US". Oh shit, they think. Women really have it rough, we need to protect women from this abuse. That's almost 1100 women a year! Except, wait, over 1100 men were murdered in California alone in 2018. Huh, I guess it turns out that it's actually men that are victims, right? No, because both of those facts are statistical footnotes and have nothing to do with how a normal person conducts their lives.

But also without Frank how are we supposed to know Sophie Stephie is a STRAIGHT trans women? NO HOMO!
