That thread has some great rhetorical doublethink that the place is often good for. Lots of words about how TRANSPHOBIA DEHUMANIZES while at the same time lots of words about how the worst part is not that someone suicided but that a TRANS person suicided. You can see it in PlanetSmasher's post about how the worst part is the loss of a "marginalized voice in comedy" and how we need to raise up more diverse voices. (But definitely NOT the voice of the black man who murdered this TRANS woman.)

In 2019 being marginalized in comedy is... being an actual comedian

The one thing I do love and it was apparent when NeoGAF died, the troons taking over Resetera meant the Black Culture Thread was BTFO. They used to sit on top of the oppression hierarchy on GAF and now even a black man is basically Enzom21 (white) because he dares to do comedy properly. Chappelle would have been their God back on GAF but now they all hate him because the white man told them to hate him.

You tend to see most of the black posters on Resetera know who their masters are and begin to adopt the unhinged tranny protection that goes on. Even to the point of whipping themselves and shouting "we're not worthy" to the white men in dresses who have a boot on them. Shy is a feral angry black man and proud, but even he has sold his soul to the white troons and that's why he's been banned like 20 times and is still going.

It's always great when the actual words of the person they're defending are ignored because the troon narrative must be maintained. They know why things really happen, and nothing like facts or statements from the people involved will ever change that.

It's something SJWs in general but troons specifically are especially good at. Because they say it's about listening to trans people and letting them lead the conversation, but they mean you have to listen to the right trans people, the ones who are saying what supports their worldview. So it's clearly not about trans rights or the trans perspective, it's only their rights and their perspective. It's easiest when they can just dismiss people as cis scum, alt-right gamergaters and/or Russian bots, but it's also how they so easily turn on each other, because anyone who has the right level of victimhood but disagrees can't be real, or can't be in their right mind, or has internalised transphobia, because no-one can actually disagree with them.

They'd yell at you if you generalised trans people, but if any one of them is offended it represents offending all the troons. That's also the SJW playbook - each minority voice is different and special as long as they say what we want them to say. It's almost like that somewhere, there is a single individual who has every single minority status they can imagine, and zhe is eternally angry, and her being the final boss of the oppression olympics means that the only correct response to absolutely everything in the world is to be angry about it and claim that it's an oppressor and if you don't agree then you're part of the problem.

Which, if someone put that in as a final boss, I would play that game. Just a hate-filled blob, commanding a zombie army of NPCs through the power of ultimate oppression.
