Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

All this talk about privilege and these cows can actually vote without having to sign up for the draft....but that's okay, apparently.

Vote, receive government loans, receive government benefits, work government jobs... you'd actually be surprised just how much of the everyday stuff Americans are supposed to receive from our benevolent federal overlords that is locked behind registering for the draft for men.

The amendment would also make it a lot harder to just brush off cases of sexual discrimination and harassment by women towards men, and would invalidate a lot of laws that make it impossible for a woman to be guilty of rape or that cause the cops to automatically arrest the larger individual on a domestic violence call, and a ton of other legislation and laws that objectively privilege women, which is another reason feminists don't really want that amendment to pass. But they do get a lot of mileage out of complaining that it doesn't exist... much as they continue to bitch about the imaginary pay gap and say we need a law against it despite said law already existing for decades.

To tie it back into TDS, it's really quite analogous to the whole impeachment grandstanding. They don't actually want to go through with the process, which would be an absolute negative for them on all levels, but they sure do want to talk a lot about it and use the talking to work the gullible into a lather.

"No we won't look into impeachment despite us saying you should be impeached for the past 4 years, and despite you wanting the inquiry!!!!"

:story:

God bless America, I'm still not tired of winning.
Maybe I'm missing something but if you read the article it says that they're just going to go ahead & do the inquiry without voting on it, that way if it becomes a fiasco like Bill Clinton's impeachment only Pelosi & Schiff will actually take electoral hits for it.

They won't be able to compel any cooperation without a formal process, so the Democrats will keep on sending requests that the White House will ignore. Nothing will proceed and nothing will be accomplished, aside from the Democrats jerking each other off in secret hearings while no actual impeachment takes place.

Basically they want to look like they're doing something to satisfy their frothing lunatic base, but they really don't want to actually do it.

They'll use it to help the media narrative that Trump "isn't cooperating" with the impeachment and make him instructing people to not appear seem sinister and as if he must be guilty and afraid, but yeah, other than that, it's a bunch of nothing.

That's probably what I find to be terrifying anyway.

Now with all the rhetoric going on about how new civil war could happen soon in the United States; there's that chance that could happen anyway.

The thing is that civil wars usually happen when the branches of said government no longer want to cooperate with each other and become even more hostile toward each other.

Now if we do ever see the White House and Congress say to each other 'Screw the rules, I'm going to take you down one way or another' then that is the moment where all Hell is going to break loose.

It happened with Thailand, it happened with Egypt, and so on; the same thing can also happen to the United States too.

Now I don't want to scare monger and I hope that things do turn out for the better but if things don't improve soon in this new political atmosphere that we're living in then do expect for the shit to hit the fan by then.

Stalin once famously asked "How many divisions does the Pope have?", the answer of course being "none".

So, let me ask "How many divisions does the House of Representatives have?"

In a showdown between one half of Congress and the Executive branch, the Executive will win. A unified Congress with a clear mandate from the American people might have some chance of facing down a president. This Congress and the president? Never.

Lisa Page & Peter Strzok's text messages:

“the White House is running this”
"Trump’s not ever going to become president, right?”
“No he’s not. We’ll stop it"
“It’s like an insurance policy”
“POTUS wants to know everything we’re doing”

But yeah, you know, no evidence or anything.

Odd how accusations are evidence when it's Acosta's team touting them, but Trump can have a video of someone saying something he said they said and Acosta and his ilk will say he has no evidence of his claims.

Why do they think they can continue to say without evidence... when even homeless junkies have an internet capable smartphone to check their statements and see the MOUNTAINS of evidence?

Because they think you're that stupid, because they can't tell the difference between partisanship and stupidity.

It should tell us something about the state of our society that, rather than question having a bad thing at all and exploring other approaches, we demand to spread misery to everyone instead.
