Manosphere Jordan Peterson - Internet Daddy Simulator, Post-modern Anti-postmodernist, Canadian Psychology Professor, Depressed, Got Hooked on Benzos

Lol Molymeme at it again.

What the fuck does this have to do with Canadian's fucked up health system? It's about the drug he took, not the systematics behind the Healthcare system that offered the drug.

The vain hope that Peterson will give a lecture about how socialist medicine hooks you on drugs?

8 replies to molyneux' post, but not the original molyneux one? Pretty unclear.

Seems to be this one.

Sorry it was actually this one. I should have included it with my original post. I found more on the one I posted from molymeme because it was more scathing. However the twitter thing you noticed from molymeme is something he commonly does. He will pay lip service to a "alt-right" talking point and then circle into muh libertatianism. Not that this thread is about molymeme but he is quite good at picking at someone and then he usually tries to find some way to funnel that into his broader lolbertarian theme.

Ps. I hope you appreciate my dedication to accuracy digging through a weeks worth of tweets of a guy who tweets 30 times a day is quite annoying.

Of course. So did I to find that one tweet, lol. Quite a lot of tweets indeed. It seemed to be the logically related one, but thanks for pointing to the right one.

And that analysis is spot on.

As far as I know he mentioned it like two times, and went to rehab for anxiety medication without a press release or any sort of announcement it was just reporters following him.
Where is this story coming from that he doesn't have his shit together? A clinical psychologist going to other psychologists for help is par for the course, every therapist or psychologist does it. People for some reason wanna treat this like Artie Lange or some shit when in reality he's like every psychologist who seeks professional consultation if he has more than one bad dream in a row.

This is one of those weird threads where everyone is just hoping for him to crash and burn for some weird personal reasons as opposed to laughing at someone who makes a fool of themselves.
A HA, he has a messy room in one of his streams, I hope this fucking degenerate con artist self destructs! This is just like Laura Loomer!

People laughing at some stupid shit on the kiwifarms, what an unexpected turn of events.

What makes it funny is that a good subsect of his followers treat him like a kind of guru, prophet or cult leader. In looking for that molyneux tweet, I saw twitter responses saying that he hoped Peterson would get better because millions of men depend on Peterson. Really? Depend on him?

And Peterson never dissuades this or puts it into perspective, but encourages it and puts effort into being regarded as some kind of religious persona.

So yeah, when a guy who professes he has his house in order, that he has the knowledge to put your life on track, on how to deal with chaos, is incapable of putting himself aside for a second to take care of a spouse with a life-threatening illness..... that is kinda funny, in a dark way. Like a christian pastor who people looked up to being caught in bed with a gay clown, or a fireman who burns his house down after trying to douse his oil based frying pan fire with water. Like, man, isn't that your expertise?

Fresh meltdown:

After devolving into a fit of muttering about how cool he was in 2016, Peterson began shakin uncontrollably, then broke down crying in front of his interviewer.

As the interviewer tried consoling Peterson about how great his accomplishments were, Peterson began crying even harder, then began describing how important of a person he is because he reminded a generation of buckos to regularly rinse their phalluses with water and soap.

@ 14:45 he begins breaking down as he describes the relentless bullying he receives on twitter, saying he can't even sign into his account any longer.

Between 24:00 and 27:00 his eyes overflow with tears and he begins sobbing as he explains how important his penis washing advice has been for the world.

The interviewer, Rex Murphy, looks on in confusion and mild panic, clearly thinking to himself "what even is this shit", then begins trying to talk Peterson down from the ledge by telling him that his cousin enjoyed his book.

Opiate withdraw really fucks you up, I guess. Then again, it's not like Peterson was the pinnacle of mental stability to start with.

Jesus Christ, this is whiny.

Did I miss a mention of Pinocchio in there?

I don't get why people are so happy about Peterson going to rehab. I don't think he's ever said he was flawless. On the contrary, I've heard him talk about how he's dealt with substance abuse. Should we discount any advice from someone who fucked up? Nobody could ever give any advice ever. Sometimes some people are too smart for their own good. Maybe Peterson thought he knew too well how benzos affect people and thought he'd know how to stave it off. Then the addiction got it's hooks in him. At least he got himself into rehab quickly before it became an life threating issue.

It's preferable to judge someone based on how they act rather than based on what they say.
I'm not a JBP hater, I do credit him for some of his public appearance where he exposes third wave feminism, post modernist/marxist intolerance in universities and the political instrumentation of sexual minorities.

However, he is definitely not a saint, his boomer takes on self improvement, masculinity and individualism are noxious and hypocrite. A demonstration of his contradicting nature is when he justifies that jews are more "successful" on average in western societies because they have an higher IQ. Yet when someone questions him about Solzhenitsyn books (that his lectures don't cover) which are critical of this group, he claims on stage that he just "can't do it".

That's just my opinion but the way I see JBP is one of a boomer that lived a boring existence within the education system until progressist activism disturbed his comfort zone. He is unable to cope with the fact that he wasted so many years supporting a system of ideas that led to such a dire situation. Everything he probably stood for is now turning its back against him. He's a confused, mentally unstable old man facing an existential crisis. He lived most of his life in an academic bubble, isolated from reality.
I'm not surprised that he's loosing it (without taking into account his current private life).

I can agree that the way a person acts is better than what they say. And that is what made Peterson famous in the first place; he stood up to college kids calling him a Nazi and didn't back down.

I don't think anybody has ever called Peterson a saint. I assume he wouldn't want to be called that. Fuck, people are only "sainted" after they've been dead for years, which I assume is only because people have time to evaluate their life and decide they were an overwhelming positive for good.

In my view, he's just pointing out what is nonsense in the world. The fact that he has to point it out, and get famous for it, proves something is wrong.

Also he was handling a serious drug and his wife is dying, and he tried to manage being a pillar of a new media movement. Thats a lot to put on any one man. And many better men thought they could handle that kind of pressure

Gonna add some bonus content while I'm at it, repost from anon:

" Peterson's daughter finally confirms she's "separated" from her husband and has been "co-parenting" (not that this is remotely a surprise to anyone who has been glancing at her Instagram etc.) Not that this is a new thought here but it's rather damning that his daughter has turned out be "attempting to find herself" (in the usual fashion) even with a toddler child and seemingly very supportive and at least somewhat redpilled father.

Very disheartening, obviously the fame and attention got to her head a bit but I'm well past the point of seeing Peterson as any sort of personal role model. Having read 12 Rules twice I can tell you there's some valuable proto-morality that can set others in the right direction but "You will know them by their fruits" (Matt. 7:16a). Perhaps we've seen enough of Peterson's fruits to move on to deeper traditions as a whole.

Skip to 45 seconds and pause. Of all the careless things she could do, this is probably the worst. She shows a screenshot of her prescription history. Two of those prescriptions are used to treat herpes. Or maybe it's used to treat her immune system related illnesses? "

In the above /pol/ thread, this photo was used for the OP.

The guy she is with is Andrew Tate, aka Cobratate. I thought about starting a thread about him awhile back when he was having twitter drama, in which he made some alts and threatened anonymous twitter accounts with mob hits. He also got somewhat famous with Weebs by shittalking anime before embracing anime, with shoops of anime girls in his lap. He is a former kick boxing champion who turned to pimping out Romanian girls on webcams and selling self help courses. He is a well known figure in "Manosphere" circles. This would be the kind of status play Tate would do to boost his brand.

Yeah, and 'Vyvanse' and 'ACT-Amphetamine' means that she's got some serious ADHD going. Though 30mg is the smallest dose, let's be honest, she's just a hyper-thot.
