I'm trying to stop snacking entirely.
This has been by problem ever since, both before and after I started my weight loss.
The only difference is that after I started my weight loss, I'd munch on either some gronola bars, get a pack of biscuits which I'd leave on the kitchen table and take one after every meal since the whole pack is worth 450+ cals and I doubt I would've been able to control myself by having them in my room or some low cal snacks made from potatoes (about 200 cals per bag which isn't bad).
I fucked up two days ago and got three of those gronola bars I usually get and told myself I'd have one a day, ended up eating them all instead (they were only 86 cals each, but that's still extra calories that could've easily been a meal instead).
Back before I started my weight loss I'd probably have some stupid crap like a bag of puffs or chips that are easily over 500 calories nearly everyday (which is crazy, that's more than what most of my meals are now and they fill me up much more than those chips).
This is what pretty much made me start to stop snacking entirely (or partially, at least). I'm better off having any fruit of sorts instead.
I also checked out of curiosity how many calories are in a cider that I used to get, didn't think there'd be that many, but it was about 350 in total
