How do you get mad at someone without becoming a lolcow?

If you express your anger in a manner that is ego-driven, or you express that anger in a way that overshadows the offense that provoked it, you're in the wrong place.

@Harnessed Carcass makes a good point here - if who you're mad at has no real implications for you or yours (i.e. virtue signaling), your expression is ego driven and you're in the wrong place.

this is funny
where is it from? what's happening there?
Just some random video a mate sent me the other day, not sure of where it happened but it's just a bunch of environmental protesters blocking the road during morning rush hour, and as the OP or protester is recording a nurse (I think, just speculation) steps in and allows people to get to their jobs (for example; working as a nurse to care for the sick :lit: )
The retarded sign reads; WALK THE TALK

yeah thats kind of what i expected
the womans autistic screeching after having her phone taken away is really entertaining

Simple.

Get mad.

But don't be a fucking retard about it. Getting mad and punishing someone can include a numerous things you can do to that individual but you don't need to make a spectucale of the situation about it online. Lolcows come from embarassed idiots who either have no idea what they are doing or they are trying to accomplish something in the most insane/idiotic way possible to anyone with 10 or more iq points.

Start by considering who you're mad at and if it has any real implications of you

This dude probably had to get to work at the hospital for a twelve hour shift, but still showed the basic human decency to kick a bunch of punks blocking the road to the curb so others could continue on with their day. How polite.

Also if you mean getting nuked with "Mad at the Internet" ratings my response would be "get mad, but don't post." No one will mock you for what you don't say on the forums.

Now if you mean in real life? Easy. You can get hot under the collar, but don't let the other person get the better of you. Never look at an argument like a screaming match, and express you anger as reasonably and rationally as possible.

Getting mad is not the problem. Getting too vocal about it is. Especially if you do it on this site.

Depends on how justified you appear to other people. For instance, violence is rarely justified except for extreme instances. However, humor--especially used in mockery--is typically a good way to express anger without embarrassing yourself.

If you can make your anger work for you and turn the person of your ire into a point of mockery for others, that's the best way to appear angry without becoming something of mockery yourself. If you listen to many comedians, almost every standup routine they give is just something that made them upset or frustrated. Yet comedians, at least the good ones, almost never come off as angry people.

There's other ways to express anger without looking foolish, but the gist of it is to use negative emotions to be productive and work for you in some way.

How to get mad without becoming a lolcow:

Step one: get mad

Step two: express your feelings however you need to

Step three: don’t share pictures of yourself pooping on your stuffed animals before you fuck them.

That’s it in a nushell. Getting mad, or being a fan of something, or taking things or youself too seriously; these don’t automatically make you a lolcow because these things aren’t automatically funny.

And, if you’re actually wondering whether or not you’re a lolcow, you’re probably not a lolcow.

And even if you were a cow, who the fuck cares? All that means is that a community of insane weirdos finds you entertaining.
