I took a look at the trailer. For what I have seen nothing contradicts the leaks too much. Rey confronting Palpi, C3PO "death", the horse shit. Apparently, is all true...

Well, I watched the trailer.
And yeah..... it's a trailer.
Nothing stood out to me as all that embarrassingly bad, but trailers tell you little about the final film, I remember Man of Steel had an excellent trailer and I totally hated the actual movie.
I have decided though that.... *sucks in breath* yes, I am going to see it in theaters, I need to see how this is going to end, good or bad.

Just saying, that whole "literally went and saw Solo solo" image is, at the best case scenario, going to be the situation Episode IX is in. At worst, it'll get pulled from even more theaters.

Didn't even know Ultimate Commander was out. BF3 Legacy is alright, and I respect what it's trying to do, but some of the releases have issues working with Steam, so be wary of that.

Looks good. Hating the new trilogy is like hating the prequels, it's your opinion and you have an unalienable right to your opinion, but it doesn't make you a better class of Star Wars fan.

This is nothing like the Prequels. The Prequels still had the heart and soul of Star Wars, if not the wit or polish.
Rather this is all the worst things people said about the Prequels that it didn't deserve, and should've been reserved for the catastrophic travesty of the ST, and Disney Star Wars as a whole. Don't kid yourself.

When I finally watched the prequels, along with the original trilogy, for the first time I really enjoyed all six movies. Sure the prequels could had been better than what we got. However, they're much better than the sequel trilogy. As I get older I don't understand the appeal of cash grabs. Sure it's Star Wars, but it's the brand or the story you care about? That's why I'm not interested in Disney's Star Wars because it doesn't have the heart and soul of the original and prequel series.

I don't think anyone's ever said they were better than anyone else in this thread. If anything this thread has talked about Disney fans who go around saying they're better than old fans for liking Disney stuff because "muh tastes", some political jargon or "muh Reylo, the greatest romance evah" while demonizing those who don't by calling them racists, alt-righters, nazis, sexists or some other nonsense.
Not even the part where 3PO looks at complete strangers he never interacted with as he's about to "die" and has only ever said one word to (ie Poe) in the last two films, yet he calls them his friends? Which is a completely hollow fake out death in itself since R2 is going to reveal he has a backup of 3PO in him an act later.
