You know I’m actually grateful Casey faded into the background so Fuhrer Lemonhead could take charge. True there was his stint with Carey and that embarrassing filing that cited PULL and tumblr...but Casey just isn’t that funny. True he’s exceptional but overall he’s a boring manlet.

Mein Fuhrer on the other hand is just the gift that keeps on giving. Exceptional faggotry and wheezing bitching. It’s so much entertainment.

Well up until he talks out loud. Then he kills the entertainment boners soon as you hear the gargling west nile.
Well, Casey and Lemoine are like Shemp and Curly - Shemp may have been the original 3rd Stooge, but Curly was the funniest.

So who is the third super lawyer Stooge with them? 🤔
Sam, other than having a voice with an uncanny resemblance to the Burger King foot lettuce guy, is too normal to be one.

I'm still certain MoRonica fired him after his outburst against Carey, they have to be at least not dumb enough to know that is a really bad look for a lawyer they hired to defend an alleged victim of sexual assault. I don't remember seeing his name in any papers after the depositions were done.

ETA: Not to mention Carey is a rape victim, if I recall correctly, so him belittling an actual victim in deposition when all his client could come up with was "he kissed me but I didn't give any indication, verbal or otherwise, that this was unwanted so he carried on, I was literally sexually assaulted" REALLY doesn't look good.

Don't you have to file specific paperwork to remove a lawyer from a case?

Excuse me, do I look like a lawyer or some dumbfuck drunken robot who's speaking out of his arse? Although considering @Svetlana gave me a big green tick I think I'm on the right track. Anyway, from what I know about Texan law (which is nothing), you don't have to file papers or notify the court that you're dismissing a lawyer, you just need to let that lawyer know and then take them out back Ol' Yeller style.

@AnOminous @RodgerDodger, please tell me how wrong I am.

You could be right. Texas seems to be rather informal about that sort of thing. Although I would think a Lawyer would at least file a notice of withdrawal to get their name off the case distribution lists.

Casey Erick was included in the teleconference on August 1st and he was at the court house for the hearing on September 6th.

You'd still be counsel of record until you changed that status.

Or they, or the new lawyer, would at least tell the judge they weren't on the case any more. There doesn't have to be a big thing about it unless someone doesn't agree.

To clarify - my "agree" was for your commnts re: Carey. I wouldn't have a clue regarding the status of opposing counsel.

So I did remember that correctly? Usually I'm happy when I recall something correctly, but fuck...

Sorry for the other comment, I didn't mean for it to sound like you had that information.

I think it's the first time in a while that I've actually seen Nick get drunk for real, and I'm loving every second of it
You know, couple nights ago I watched a couple minutes of some of the first videos he made, talking about the LOLsuit, and it actually shocked me at how tore up he was in some of those. Already drunk at the start of 'em in some cases. It actually made me a bit uncomfortable skimming thru the videos. I'm glad he was able to tone it down and keep it respectable going forward. I don't know if he built up a tolerance, or actually cut back, or if his personality just started outweighing his awkward drunkeness.

Another thing I found amusing was while those first few shows weren't livestreams, the comments were already full of people telling him he should livestream it, that he had the personality to pull it off, and that he could find an untapped market.

As someone that was listening from the start, a lot of the change can be attributed to the intended audience. The original videos were intended for a few dedicated Dick fans, and Nick was basically just rambling. As he realized there was a market for it he started actually standardizing his stuff, which included lower how much he's drinking per stream.
