In the second case it sounds more like it might have started when the son was an adult but in both the third and fourth cases it started when the girls were still teenagers and in school. It could be argued that the article title is clickbaity and makes it sound like all of the children have yet to reach adulthood, but it makes sense why parents of now adult individuals who started identifying as trans when they were underage would want to prevent what happened to their children from happening to others.
