Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

So Rey is the Jedi Eater like in that one leak?
Well fuck, you may be onto something... The "hero" was the Jedi Eater all along. Imagine if they introduce a shitty new prophecy where Rey is the anti-Chosen One destined to "eat" the jedi but she subverts expectations again by "embracing them into her being" so she can become the Force Nexus Avatar the Last Jedi, all the while doing a better job of handling her prophecy than Anakin just to shit on more people.

The Force is Female and Voracious... Avatar the Last Jedi... For fuck's sake.

Despite new aliens getting shafted for the films, IX is confirmed to have all the original R-series droids and PT/OT droids for the film, but no a single old alien so far... I don't get it. Technology is supposed to progress and be replaced. Dozens of recurring species that were on par with humans don't suddenly just vanish while technology stays the same.
No aliens? I think you're forgetting someone.

Meant "old aliens getting shafted", my bad. But yeah, the new movie so far has only nu-aliens like Klaud confirmed out the wazoo, including the Ithorian knockoff for some unholy reason.

Also it says a lot of disturbing things when Klaud is probably the least repulsive nu-alien to be introduced whose design isn't just an copycat of a pre-existing one.

Fuck.

At least in the case of the Thought Bomb, those poor souls were freed by Kyle "The Ultimate Badass" Katarn at the Valley of the Jedi, where Jerec tried to do the exact the same thing with them that Rey will do with every Jedi ever. Amazing.

Move over, Captain Marvel. There's a new HERo in town, and she's twice the villain you ever were.

Its amazing how most feminist "heroes" are borderline villains.
I remember I kind of wrote in one of my brainstorm ideas of this The Boys styled "heroine" that is incredibly sexist towards men (and not an exactly angel with women either), pretty much making up or exageratting facts to have them arrested and she is just so OP, what can anyone do to stop her? I, of course, know that a character like this would never, ever fucking fly nowadays.

Hell, even PowerPuff GIRLS had an episode showing why extreme feminism is bullshit. It was a villainess that used the fact that she is the "only" female villain in townsvile (which to a OG PPG fan like me, I know its bullshit but still) and that by some real logic stretching, convinced the girls that she should be let go because she has vagina (seriously, that was the reason, because she was just a woman). Then the Girls start acting like assholes to males until Mrs Bellum (who is, in my opinion, an actual good female role model, hence why she was removed in the shitty reboot), and other two female characters the villainess fucked over with her crimes, pretty much snap them out of it and the girls face her and tell her that true feminism is getting equal treatment so she isnt any better than any of the criminal scum they faced before (and they beat the fuck out of her and send her to jail like it usually goes).

Oh man, old TV was so much better...

Yeah, I think I remember that one. A more common one I've seen people reference is where Mojo JoJo ends up being defended by SJW activists who think the PPG are bullying them. So whenever he was in the middle of getting stopped by them, he says, "I'm being oppressed" and the SJWs swarmed the Girls to try and stop them.

Unfortunately I think the writer behind the show ended up regretting those episodes later. She apparently ended up identifying with the same kind of people she called out in her show, as evidenced by the whole incident with the astronaut who wore a T-shirt of sexy women to his own congratulations ceremony or something when he landed a sat on an asteroid. She joined in on the Twitter cancel mob and brought the man down to a tearful apology. Then she gave him faint praise for his enormous accomplishment and moved on to tweeting about animal shelters.

Some of that is just bad writing, but I think it's also a little bit intentional. This whole theme of tearing down the old to make way for the new is more or less an analogy for how they feel western society is fundamentally bad, and must be rebuilt in a more progressive manner.

The episode I mentioned, I think, came out during the earlier seasons, that one you mentioned (it was a bunch of hippies, aka, the SJWs of the past) was one of the latter and those seasons were mostly crap (it kind of climaxed with the PPG movie and it was all downhill from there).

Those hippies always raised my blood pressure, arent they aware Mojo most likely murdered (putting it in a somewhat realistic perspective) thousands of innocents in townsvile over the years? And he was very well aware of what he was doing....huh....SJWs defending awful people while ignoring their awful deeds, they truly were proto SJWs.

Meh, I still prefer the latter seasons over the shit tier reboot.

Edit:
Aw yes, these guys. I still hate them, I just simply now understand why better

That was great, but I don't think Lauren Faust would've written that in the current year. In fact, I think she has devolved to current year wokeness and she has even betrayed her own words.

Mor recently, she also wrote SBFF which features the opposite, long story short she wrote an episode with supergirl being all bratty, and superman telling her she is grounded, but she doesn't listen to the male authority figure... until Martha Kent, that is their mom, shows up (of course you can't have their dad in a feminist show, do you?).

Later she wrote an episode with Superman acting like a huge narcissistic ass that just wants to make Supergirl look bad.

And he is an all-around jackass, as opposed to awesome and heroic Supergirl.

I am all for comedy and all, but isn't supergirl usually the least mature of the two? She is usually seen admiring or at least liking Superman. I can shake this feeling she is shitting on superman just so people like Supergirl more because you can't have a competent hero steal the spotlight of a HERo in the current year.

I understand Supergirl being rebellious, thats not the problem, the problem is when the story acts like SHE is in the right. I could write a long text over how she is thematically important for Superman's dynamics (and vice versa) but when the story treat Superman like an asshole for daring to try to steer her towards the right direction,I cant help but question the morality of the person writing it.

She should've stuck to MLP. At least there she's not coopting boys' properties.

PPG was a good show in the Toonami era, but nothing topped Ed, Edd & Eddy. Not even anime.

Megas XLR is a very close contender.

I guess we're at the same point in the thread now as when EFAP goes off on a more interesting tangent than the video they're roasting.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy was always such an interesting show because I didn't grow up near a cul de sac. The first time I drove down one after getting my license was like entering another world. It just seemed so interesting and foreign to see houses so close together with so many kids.

On the topic of Star Wars, my friends are going to drag me along to see it in theaters. They keep saying I'm irrational in expressing my dislike and that it won't be that bad, and that my opinion about the franchise destroying itself is incorrect. I will go with them, but I will cackle like a hyena, and unlike VII when I stifled my laughter during the Kylo Ren face reveal I will do it with pride.

Hell maybe I'll just get them to take bets with me on what's about to happen.

I also never paid to see VIII so I will bite the bullet on this one. At least I will get my moneys' worth in cringe.

Sneak out while they are distracted by soy overloads; watch literally any other fucking movie instead.

No need to ever fucking pay for such a shit film.

If your friends are trying to talk you into going, the very least they could do is spring for the ticket. Speaking for myself, I will see this movie if I get dragged along on a social occasion and don't have to pay for it (as with TFA.)

I'm there opening night...I plan to take pictures
"Shocking" new leaked pics from what's supposedly the final cut of 'Rise'.

Yeah but here is the problem with rebellious "tear it all down" attitude...does anyone remember the ending of The Graduate? If not, check it out on youtube. The Long story short is this, guy wanted the girl despite everyone telling him no, he wanted to rebel and so did she, so during the wedding, he runs away with her to a bus, they leave on it and...The Sound of Silence begins to play as their faces go from happiness to...neutrality-realization over what they just done. That ending is honestly genius and a true example of subverting expectations but my point is that the problem with youthful rebellion is that most of the times they dont know what comes after the "goal", you rebelled and...then what? What you going to build to replace the system you rebelled again? See? Reality starts setting in.

The problem is, these writers didnt actually get into the Sounds of Silence realization in their lives, they antagonize western society, pretending they have a goal but when you truly think about it, they really dont. They want to rebel against the system unaware that they are the system and even if they werent, the option they are offering to replace the system isnt that much better than it.

At least try to record it and then post some of the parts we would find interesting and worth some " :winner: " ratings (in a cringe sense).
Welp, when your friends leave the theater, trying to convince themselves that the movie was good, make sure they know that they actually paid money to watch it, thats a precious living time they aint getting back.
