How long did the Yoshi head stay on before he found a reason to take it off? Also, what was his reason?
It stayed on the whole time until the last minute or so before ending the stream. The turtle shell backpack is a different story. It lasted the 1st couch session and was taken off when after break when he started doing computer games.
-------------
To anyone that cares, Dave edited out his little whining segment on Tevin on his YT upload. I cannot tell if he thought he was being slick and nobody would clip that or it's to just avoid any trouble with YT ToS.

its likely to avoid TOS or confirm his narrative if you ask me its in line with what phil would do
tell people anything clipped out of context is false
edit out your statement and now that clip is out of context

How does a backpack make you sweat

How does a plush hat make your head hurt

Wut

Also, did Tevin even insult Khat in his stream? Unless Phil was talking about 2018 (if he insulted her then even)

Cause if Tevin didn't insult Khat this stream then Jesus, Phil, you hold a grudge over some dude on the Internet for over a fucking year. Rent free.

Final tally:

Bloodstained - Start 11:58 am PDT; End 1:05 pm EDT (67 minutes)
STALKER - Start 1:38 pm; End 2:20 pm (42 minutes)
VISAGE - Start 2:40 pm; End 4:25 pm (105 minutes)
Blasphemous - Start 4:54 pm; End 5:38 pm (44 minutes)
Luigi's Mansion 3 - Start 5:55 pm; End 7:55 pm (120 minutes)

6 hours, 18 minutes

BARELY more gameplay than a regular stream. Plus he got to clock out an hour 15 minutes earlier than usual instead of his usual 9:15 or 9:30.

Jesus fuck, pages and pages of speculation over what is probably just bait.

Here's my two cents: Piggy knows he's watched by complete fucking autists and a lot of his tics, mannerisms, 'oopsie-doodle' slipups are actually on purpose. He is fully aware that w.eens are meticulously monitoring his financials better than he could ever hope to on his own. What's to say he won't try to throw a wrench in the gears of all this speculation? Why wouldn't he maybe put a bunch of fake shit on his desktop beforehand, fully intending to show it on stream? Maybe he could throw people onto wrong trails, make them waste brainpower and resources exploring fake scenarios?

For all any of you know those paystub, hardship letters, kat's financials folders probably have some stupid meaningless text file in them so they look full and make people ree and speculate over absolutely nothing. Throw in some dumb jpg files in these suspicious-sounding folders, maybe some word docs, and now they look like they have substance. They were probably created in preparation for this stream just so people would speculate.

It's fucking DSP, the man scared of his own shadow. He's already shown his desktop before with dire consequences. He lies about anything and everything like it's a body function to him. He could very likely be fucking with all of you with very little effort.

'Hey guys! Lots of stuff behind the scenes, but you don't need to know about it. Don't ask, just gimmie money. Also whoops here's my desktop showing some of that behind-the-scenes stuff that corroborates my story.'
sure its plausible dsp does this on purpose to mess with us, or is DSP so horrifcly inept with a PC that he has to look at WASD on his keyboard while playing stalker, dsp literally forgot where to place his fingers for pc gaming.
im not saying you're wrong because its always possible DSP got smart for a second but he's REALLY bad with pc shit
He also refuses to apply literally any Windows updates and isn't sure what version of Windows he currently has (it looks to be Windows 8.1, one of the absolutely shittiest ones). Phil's just shit with a PC, despite his claims of "PC Master Race" citizenship.

And worst of all: the dood saves a simple screenshot of black text on a white background as .gif... (:_(

=================================

Anyway... what a disgustingly horrible stream. Absolute fucking trash.

He ragequit literally 4 out of 5 games, and he somehow managed to make the event that he was hyping up for over a month into this extremely toxic, depressing thing. The man's got talent, that's for sure; I bet 9 out of 10 people couldn't even manage to be this toxic and whiny for HOURS on end if they tried to.

Oh, and I love how there was exactly 1 minute and 49 seconds between him stopping the Youtube recording for the last time and ending the stream. He wanted to get the fuck out of there. Imagine if that one whale didn't kinda salvage at least some of his goal with that $103 tip (which made up almost 45% of the total amount of tips)...

And then that last shout-out to Tevin, basically making him the star the of the show. :story:
He really thinks re-streamers are literally stealing money from him that otherwise he himself would be receiving, doesn't he?

Oh well, nothing he could do, I guess. He did everything correct.

:stress:

I love how DSP was using his vacuum to suck up every single item in a room like a compulsive hoarder, yet literally quit gameplay for the night two rooms before an actual game objective. Dog forbid he accidentally wander into a boss fight and get stuck having to work a few extra minutes.

Also, is it just me, or is he developing Bell's Palsy? It looks like one side of his face is drooping now.

DSP is just not that smart in my opinion. If he did something like that it would be painfully obvious because that's Phil.
Agreed, plus Phil is a paranoid shut-in who thinks he's a victim. There's no need to "throw anyone off the trail" when you think you're doing everything correctly. He's probably not paying Khet for anything and needed her paystub to show her income for tax purposes, but either way it's not some genius master plan. He has no master plan past ragequitting and ranting like he did today, and like he'll do as long as a small group of idiots will pay him ridiculous amounts to do so.

Also, is it just me, or is he developing Bell's Palsy? It looks like one side of his face is drooping now.
His face ALWAYS droops like that. When he's not going full-blown clown mode, and he's doing that marble-mouth talking (where barely anything but his bottom lip moves in the attempt to enunciate things), that side of his face is always kinda droopy. When he's got that absolute shit lighting going on where he looks like a goddamn 100% Italian by way of Poland cadaver, it looks worse. Although, with his love of wrasslin', it wouldn't surprise me if he's trying to be like Jim Ross with both live, reactionary commentary AND palsy. And, humoring the possibility, if it WAS some sort of palsy...you know that he'd blame it on those empty-headed fucks out there that troll him and illegally reshtreem and steal his shtreems.

Thought I'd throw my favorite bits from last years stream in since I didn't have an account til this October and it was the last time the woman of many faces was on stream. My personal favorites being: Bored while staring at chat, staring at chat with headphones in, and finally, gone after 4 1/2 hours of staring at chat.

Holy shit what a good catch I never noticed that she was wearing headphones.

Back on point with yesterday's stream, the only games that will work with his audience is bloodstained and that pc indie game. Everything would have been dead. I guess his plan of action for Luigi's Mansion is to do a play through of a switch game before pokemon sword/shield.

Dude is a fan of Rifftrax and MST3K but thinks commenting over his shitty streams is morally evil and illegal (and I wonder what kind of punishment he wants, I would assume it's pretty harsh given the names he calls people who restream him). "bUt RiFfTrAx DoEsN't BrOaDcAsT tHe CoNtEnT". God I just realized DSP is like the caps/lowercase exceptional comments meme in living form.

Anyway, another hilariously bad stream that will give hours of content to detractors. Thanks Phillip.

The way to kind of end this argument with him is to ask him how much it costs for the subscription fee to watch twitch streams. There is none. The difference between restreaming a twitch stream and restreaming a tv show or sporting event (and I do this all the time. It's how I watch all the UFC and boxing PPV's) is that there is a fee involved with them (cable service fee, PPV fee) Twitch and DSP don't really lose money because the people that go to Tev, DarkDave or LSB restreams typically wouldn't give DSP views for ad revenue or tips/cheers/subs in the first place.

Phil stated once after being banned (sorry, 'suspended' - I WAS NEVER BANNED) that Twitch walked him through the rules and informed him that they would never take any third party source as verification of a complaint. This presumably includes Phil's own 'archive' channel since it is not on Twitch. Shortly after, Phil began deleting his Twitch streams very quickly, and seemed to shove his more dubious comments into 'unrecorded' segments or in his Twitch chat. The only way Phil can get caught on these things after the VODs are removed is via screen caps, chat logs or detractor videos that Twitch allegedly won't rely on.

That said, you can still view VODs that have been 'deleted' if you have them open in a tab, so I'm fairly sure this isn't as safe as he thinks, since Twitch can probably still pull them up on their end. But it also gives them deniability if they just don't want to act on a complaint.

We all know Twitch will make up reasons for whatever they feel like, but Phil goes to some effort to give himself that buffer.

Nah, as long as it's a "reasonable wage" the taxman doesn't really care.
Reasonable wage based on the services they are providing to the business. So if they're doing nothing $0 is a reasonable wage. If you actually get audited, which you never will, and they can't find your spouse's signature on a single document they're going to levy taxes against the invalid business expense deduction.

And there is no CEO or Secretary of his business because it's a sole proprietorship. All income paid is taxed the same whether he pays himself all of it or pays half to himself and half to his wife. As a sole proprietor he and his business are the same legal person. As a married couple he and his wife are the same legal person.
