A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

If the name change was done legally 10 years ago then they've had plenty of time and opportunity to contact and change every major biller they have. This argument is as bullshit as all the rest of their timeline. There's absolutely no reason to have a 'bill' from ten years ago suddenly come in your old name unless you were purposely attempting to shirk responsibility for said bill, which means it's probably just junkmail if they're getting anything at all.

What female uniform? Uniforms are indeed a problem sometimes when the company (which buys uniforms in bulk) doesn't have any in smaller sizes to fit women and refuses to order just one - this can compromise workplace safety. But he's the same size he's been (ok, maybe fatter).

Are they though? I agree that clothes meant to make women look attractive need to be cut differently. Clothes cut for men tend to make women look boxy and fat. But the dude's a technician. Depends on the uniform company. I have to wear fire retardant pants. Only mens sizing is available, because 98% of the people needing fire retardant pants are men. A woman can wear mens pants, it just requires you to actually measure yourself because men's clothing actually has measurements that correspond to reality, compared to women's sizing which is "lol fuck you 10 means nothing".

However, I agree with you that the idiots measurements have not changed, therefore demanding "women's uniforms" is simply seeking attention for attention's sake.

No serious mechanic's uniform for women is going to have a "cheap rayon skirt," or any other kind of skirt attached. Assuming that we're not just talking about coveralls here, did his previous uniform just stop fitting? Even assuming the existence of a "women's uniform" (the whole place is clearly set up with the assumption of an all-male staff, as evidenced by the bathrooms) why does he need one when he's still the same person on the outside?

A troon in my country asked exactly this, last year: he won a poetry prize, his book was awarded as "best first work". Then the commission learned that he had already published a couple of books when he was a presenting as a dude, so they took away the award, motivating it with "If you have already two books under your belt, this book isn't a first work". He protested saying that the person who wrote those books never existed, since the name and the sex on his birth certificate are female, but thankfully the commission had a very clear understanding of the concept of "legal fiction", and they replied that the correction is purely anagraphic, it doesn't change you identity.

But while they have the right to annihilate the person they were, their parents, s.o. and friends haven't the right to mourn their loved one 'death'.
