Oh ok gotcha "poo-poo pee-pee touching" can't we think of something a little less preschool sounding here?
Someone used to call Tim Heidecker with a DSP soundboard

11/6/19 I've been informed the DSP soundboards were a comedy act

Agree as well: RPing as DSP is fucking cringy.

So many people on the farms are borderline genuine fans but are in denial.

Can we have a poll whether RPing as Dave should be a bannable offense? I second that motion.

I think ltg put it best:

But seriously. Just give these role-playing fucks their own thread and they can ACKACK *LEANS IN* Nothin personnel, kid all they want without inflating this thread for actual discussion. I feel like if other mundane shit is shipped off to other threads, so should DSP RP.

(Let that sink in: you are roleplaying. As darksydephil.

First, please don't backseat moderate. There's a way to get your point across without demanding it.

@Raven'sChild's made a thread for it. That's fine. But I'm not gonna tell everyone here that they can't have their stupid fun.

There's more serious problems with the Subforum that would require some seriously aggressive moderating to coerce cooperation. People writing like Phil speaks isn't the place that's gonna start.

There's a reason @Nigel of Ukip stopped being an active participant here: people were DM'ing him (including mods) to stop "pozloading my neghole" and being too hard on the paypigs.

Who are these colossal fucking faggots?

I'm generally against pozloading my neghole, but this is a fag move.

Paypigs should be open game.

Who was DMing him besides the notification from that one Staff member? And "being too hard on paypigs" had nothing to do with it.

I supported what the Right Honourable Nigel was doing and still do. Doxing is no more coming in direct contact with a cow's orbiters than it is when a cow is doxed in the OP of their own thread. We don't encourage or condone harassment enabled by the information we dig up, and I've always seen doxing as a method of facilitating the collection of further lulz. Knowing a cow's accounts makes it easier to catch when they're acting a fool. But hey, I'm not a mod and only one person.

@Nigel of Ukip was told to stop because this Subforum's been blighted by the "Faildox" before, and that Staff member wasn't in the mood to clean anything up. In the same line, he didn't trust the dox to be properly verified (I generally try to avoid quoting a private conversation held with someone else to keep private stuff confidential - hopefully I phrased that correctly). It's not doxing per se. It's that over-eagerness has damaged this Subforum's reputation with those that have to deal with the consequences.

Fair enough. Man holding the mop gets to gripe the loudest when someone tracks shit all over the floor.

Lol he just said troll tips "don't count" towards the total and is therefore concealing how much he's really making. I don't keep up as much as I used to, has he said this before?
Yeah, he does this from to time, depending on his mood. If he's having a good time due to either the game or the amount of money being thrown at him (or both), he'll simply ACK-ACK-ACK at the troll tips and call them idiots or something. But if he's in a bad mood, like yesterday, he suddenly can't handle that shit and goes into baby mode.

Btw, I did a tips count for both streams yesterday:

DSP received a total of at least $64,71 in tips yesterday; $40.51 during the first stream, $24.20 during the second stream. This includes troll tips, the actual tip amounts before he rounds them off (I noticed him rounding off a $12.90 tip to $12 last week...) and tips he simply forgot to add to the tips total.

I also did a count of troll tips while I was at it. These are tips deemed as literally "troll tips" by himself or tips that clearly shit on him or (try to) troll him with the messages and/or the name attached to them.

- during the first stream he received at least $17 in troll tips, so that's $17 out of $40.51, which is roughly 42%.
- during the second stream he received at least another $17 in troll tips, so that's $17 out of $24.20, which is roughly 70%.

Total: at least $35 out of $64.71 in tips came from trolls yesterday, which is 54%. Let that sink in...

I'm not sure how or why it's so hard to grasp "don't give your money to things and people that are so obviously shit, no matter why you actually do it" but in my opinion it sure goes a long way to explaining why I can't find a decent burger in this weeping pustule of a town.

Might be a bit out of the loop on this one, but who are these troll tippers and where are they coming from? I can't think of a fan message since the fake donations he got on Muxy that have made me laugh. Are the trolls that donate money his former fans who have fucking Stockholm syndrome? Are these former piggies donating out of habit? I know Tevin's fans get a lot of shit for doing this sort of stuff, but surely by now they'd know they get nothing out of it - Phil won't have a meltdown, and they won't receive any penne points or credibility from the detractor community.

Half the time, Tevin's viewers don't even need to troll tip to get Phil to respond. There were several things Tevin said during the Halloween 2019 restream; and then 5 to 10 minutes later, Phil would respond to someone in chat, free of charge in relation to what Tevin said. So it's not that they get nothing out of it, it's that they can do it for free.

he's starting to acknowledge the troll tips less and less, hopefully they stop soon

" @actually cheered and he's talking about moooonmoooon's parents... Oh wow dood, that sucks. That really sucks. Yeah, you know I know what it's like worrying about your parents all the time when they get older. I feel the same about my parents, you know, their health... uh... their health isn't as goooood? As it used to be? And every day you're just waiting for the neeeews, you know? My mom... she smoked A LAHT. And my dad? His back? It's not good, man. And of course, they live in the ghetto! *snort* And you know, it sucks because... because if anything happens? I can't go back to Connecticut! I can't! I can't afford it! At least moonmoon... at least he has the money, you know? *leg slap* I'm sure he'll get tons today, even if he's not asking for it. Me, you know, I can't afford it? And I can't take the time off streaming! I'm still struggling after the trip earlier this year! It really hurt me! Still trying to... to recover! So if you could tip today, that would really help me out.

Oh now we have a troll cheer. They're saying I'm making this about me, and didn't my mom give me a bunch of money on that trip. No. You're a fucking moron, and now you can enjoy your ban. Anyone else want to be hurtful? You can sit in out in the hall while the rest of us have fun."
The scary thing is that if you hadn't put "@actually", I think I might not be the only one who could have mistaken this as something DSP truly said.

>DSP roleplaying

Me too, holy fucking shit. If anything needed to become a bannable offense, this would be it. Something like 2-4 posts a page are just people RPing as Dave and it's fucking awful. It's a step below tossing him quarters for attention...just get a tattoo of him on your ass already if you're gonna RP as him.

On the positive side, it does make scrolling through pages quicker.
Umm, are you actually calling for people who repeat dumb shit Phil has said to mock him, "DSP RP'ing", to be thread-b& for a single instance of doing so because you don't like it? That's some pretty good "DSP RP'ing" there ;)

Sometimes it entertains me to be reminded of dumb shit Phil has said in the past when speculating on new situations, other times it doesn't and I just scroll past. Trying to police the subforum based on your subjective opinion of entertainment seems pretty 'cringy' to me.

The great thing about KiwiFarms is that everyone is welcome to share their opinion and engage with content how they want. If a post is bothering you you could try hitting the 'Report' button and letting staff know that you think this content is cringy and you find it offensive to your senses and wish for it to be b&. It is a forum where free speech is encouraged though, so fair warning I'm not sure that would be well received.
On the other hand you already have the functionality to not have to see this content that offends your sensibilities by simply 'Blocking' the offending user and you will never see another thing they post if you feel the need to tailor your KiwiFarms experience so. You can literally thread-ban anyone you want for youself by 'Blocking' them instead of publicly berating people and policing behavior.

I look at it like staring into the Void. Eventually it gets inside you and you can either spit it out or let it consume you. I agree that most of the time I don't find it funny, but sometimes I do find it funny and if a couple seconds of skimming and scrolling is the price I happily pay it. Although I am glad it brought about the RP thread as kind of a containment zone for when you feel the need to exorcize the demon pigroach, so thanks for sharing your opinion :)

Does bullet 5 count as roleplaying?

Playing devil's advocate i'm sure everyone has a post style or a subject pertaining to Phil they don't give a shit about or find cringy, but if you start making those bannable offenses you might as well shut the whole subforum down.

The thing with him plugging his Patron nowadays is that he mentions all these exciting perks it has, but won't actually say what they are and to just check out the site because he is too lazy to even go over an extra inch for that. Most likely to avoid humiliation because they barely count as perks, and they aren't that exciting. So typical Phil to use sweet words like perk, to make them seem extra special.

Same with plugging his Teespring. Just tells you to go check it out, then you go and do that and realize how shit his shirts/mugs are. So it's really just Phil wanting extra pocket change for doing almost the bare minimum.
You think... noo. You think.. You think Dave doesn't even know what his Patreon perks are anymore? Surely not.

It's mostly from people who look like they're trying to get in some kind of compilation clip (and 9 out of 10 times utterly failing at that) or get some kind of e-credit during a re-stream, and it seems like a lot of them are usually fucking with Wings of Redemption. To my knowledge the whole troll tipping thing flared up during Wings of Redemption's "rise to popularity" under trolls, basically when he started streaming on Twitch, so about 1.5 to 2 years ago. Before that, DSP would get trolled, sure, but in 99 out of 100 cases certainly not by literally giving him money.

I don't think they're former fans/piggies, but it's kinda hard to put them into a specific "group"; there's a lot of cross-pollination between DSP/Tevin/Wings regarding detractors. Maybe it's simply a "new generation" of trolls, probably relatively young people who are used to spending money on livestreams to get those 5 seconds of fame from someone or something reading their message out loud. And that's all it basically is in the end: just like you, I can't think of a single funny "meme" that came from someone tipping him any amount of cash.

but surely by now they'd know they get nothing out of it
This is the DSPhere: there's no guarantee that things most people would easily understand are self-evident to those acting within the sphere. The "But it's just a couple of cents/dollars"-mentality is strong nowadays, but as you can see, there are moments where DSP's income is at least moderately boosted by trolls.

Don't pin me down on this, but I believe trolls were responsible for roughly 15-20% of DSP's income last year(?) on average, according to, I think, @actually's calculations some time ago.

I chose my words poorly ( IT SHOULD BE BANNED'!) and failed to identify myself as a fan in my latest comment which made me seem hypocritical. Every single person in here is a fan whenever they realize it or not. I've only ever watched tractor streams and I know that I'm a fan deep down.

I am happy the discussion in your comment and in others occurred, even though it resulted in the creation of a fuckin DSP roleplay thread. I deserve 40 lashes for that alone. Just wait until Phil gets wind of that.

Getting banned from RPing might be too harsh but I do support a general RP'ing thread.

I'll be honest. I find a lot of the "DS-speak" funny as shit, but I can see where someone wouldn't want every third post to have it. We have the thread for it now, so that should handle this issue.

There's a reason @Nigel of Ukip stopped being an active participant here: people were DM'ing him (including mods) to stop "pozloading my neghole" and being too hard on the paypigs.

Just wanted to reiterate what @Haunter said here. Neither he nor I deleted Nigel's posts. That was done by a higher ranking staff member. I asked why and got the explanation that Haunter has summed up here.

I do want to add that if anybody does have a problem with or question about a particular moderation choice, you are wholeheartedly encouraged to contact @Haunter and I about it. We're far from perfect and usually discuss things together before we do something, unless it's a simple matter (like merging a double-post or something), but we can still get it wrong.

Probably something more like 5-10% on average, but as you pointed out in your detailed post, on some streams, the trolls account for a majority of the money, which kinda blows my mind. It is worth noting that I think some of the "troll tips" come from genuine supporters who like to fuck with Phil too.

I can recall that there have been some "fans" that have tread a pretty fine line between light hearted trolling and outright detracting. Thirdeyethethird (or whatever the name of the fan that made last years Xmas overlay) was someone who I could never second guess as to whether he was intentionally trying to get a rise out of Phil, or whether he didn't realize how thin skinned Phil really is.

People mistake Fake Quoting phil for humor as part of an otherwise decentish post and the insufferable paragraphs of Fake Phil monologues that dont add anything.

Anyways, Phil's boring as fuck but like always we can trust something exceptional to happen like clockwork because the man's his own worst enemy.

Every single time he gets boring as shit he'll do some dumbfuck thing thats amusing again. Hell, the exercise bike wasnt even that bad.

Anyone who sticks around here just needs to admit watching the sad clown slowly degrade to dust is a long process. Its not gonna be highlight reel worthy all the time, but we've yet to go a year where we don't end up with a cow worthy top ten list.

My money is on him getting bitchy about his wife on stream one day and letting some Leanna Health tier personal info out.
