You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

Pretentious Artsy fartsy movies that try way too hard to be surreal and deep. Watched that Jennifer Laurence movie Mother the other day, and gotta say it’s actually the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Like if you gotta message to say in your film, find a way to tastefully incorporate it into an actual plot instead of having a contrived mess with the actual theme just hamfisted in at the end. If I’m watching a movie and I hear a characters name and it’s something like “the man” or “the writer” I immediately know the movies gonna be a massive, wet stream of steaming diarrhea shot-gunned onto a screen.

when the frozen pizza is still raw on the inside despite being cooked for the right amount of time. shit tastes like sour milk

please don't tell me there's a word filter for "𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐤" of all things

edit: another thing that irks me is the site's arbitrary word filters that change shit for no reason

Fucking hell, I hate, hate, hate people that parade their personal beliefs and opinions on shit around in day to day shit.

You wanna go to a protest for something? By all means. You wanna bitch about something in an environment of your close friends and/or family? Sure. But I, who barely know you more than an acquaintance, do not need to hear how horrible the gahddamn social marxists are / how bad orange man is. I watch the news. I read. I have a whole bookmark folder for news sites. If I needed an autist to tell me the news, or how they voted, I'd have let you know.

Cart pushing is a necessary nothing-job for exceptional individuals and genetic abberations, to keep them from making headline news when they snap. Why doesn't your store have one?

There's people who get the carts back, but still people will take the carts away from the store to where they live and leave the cart outside their home and not bring the cart back to where it came from. That's always annoyed me for some reason.

College professors that think their word is the end all, be all. I understand putting years of research into things, but people are allowed to disagree too. I’ve seen this with some of my history professors and it gets aggravating at times. What annoys me more are the professors that spend time just sperging about Trump, which most of the time is unrelated to the subject matter they teach.

That sounds like some real bad neighborhood shit! I don't think I've ever seen that happen in my area. The only exception was that I noticed one of the chinese food places in the mall took a cart from Target, which was an anchor store there, to hold veggies.

Every person in my neighborhood who takes a shopping cart from the store and leaves it on the sidewalk. Just take the cart back.

Incredibly mean and nasty elderly people. I don't give a single flying fuck how old you are, act like a civilized human being or do everyone a favor and fuck off into your grave.

Advanced age is not a free pass to treat others poorly.
I was hangin out once with a friend, sitting on a bench, outside of a playground. I noticed this old couple sitting inside and the wife was looking at me. She proceeds to come outside of the playground and sits next to me on the bench. I keep smoking and she starts giving me dirty looks and making fake coughing sounds. I just looked at her and kept smoking. Finally she got up and gave me a final dirty look and muttered something and walked away. That was one of the times I had a fuck respecting the elderly epiphany. Half the time their crotchety old farts who are far from loaded with wisdom and if anything actually pretty stupid with antiquated views.

Typing on a smartphone or tablet. The autocorrect. The selecting of text it considers "wrong" when you're just trying to select a place before the "wrong" word. The "giving up" when you're trying to select a block of text. The endless mistakes. How the hell do smartphone addicts tolerate that potentially enraging nonsense?

I assume every person who does this doesn't want to walk with bags but they're too lazy to walk back with the cart. Not like they have to even walk far with bags. It's too much work to take it back, I guess.
