- The judge ordered the parties to mediation shortly before ruling on the remaining counts because of the threats he received.
- No settlement was reached and the judge dismissed all claims by the plaintiff, which has been appealed.
- Lemoine wrote a letter to the judge asking to serve (but not file) their attorney's fees and sanctions, saving those documents for an evidentiary hearing at a later date.

Fuck that, he went from being a legit peacekeeper to complete pussy ass rat that's desperately trying to find shelter from the coming storm. I say this again and again that he should have stop trying to be a peacekeeper and be stay with the ISWV spregs, they would gladly defend him when the time comes, but now he's sabotaging the movement to the point that when they finally catch on to his act that he's gonna get the boot and KV kick him away from them.

He had one chance to save his own ass and do something good but he fucked up. Betrayal of this magnitude is not someone anyone will forgive and you only do that when you are 100% sure you gonna join one side of a conflict or if you made a massive mistake. I hate to be devils advocate on this one but even KV have justified reason to have Chuck's on a platter.

I reached out to Chuck to talk to him. See where his heads legitimately at. Whether or not he's down to talk to me is irrelevant to me but will probably be "the straw" for some people I imagine.
At this point it's easy to see what's going on but at least this way I can curb my own curiosity. See what happens.

However if you can get a chat with Chuck and see what happening with him and get a legitimate reason as to why he's going around disgracing Fred Rogers good name and get his head back on right, It would help out greatly and properly give him more confidence, I would even take back a lot of the shit I've said about him, However if he's still up in lala-peace keeper-land and continues to pander to both sides he's done.

I am not too optimistic about you talking to Chuck and clearing the air but the one thing he can't do is back out of this mess due to his affidavit. He's either ISWV or KV, there sadly can't be any escape or middle ground for him.

Chuck's actually one of the stupidest people (outside of the defendants) to participate in Weeb Wars when you consider the long term consequences of his actions. His career is effectively over unless Vic wins. Even if Vic wins, it might be over anyway due to how he's conducted himself. Its undeniably stupid, short-sighted and naive at best or dishonest, low-integrity and kayfabe at worst. No conversation with him could possibly clear this up as short of an admitted episode of psychosis, his behavior is largely indefensible as a sensible thing to do with the facts he has and the beliefs he purports to hold.

She's getting recognition almost solely for her work on Vic's show, portraying a character he created. She's going to be able to travel to events because of it. Also, when it comes to the other stuff PR Celebrity mentioned, she got her role in the star trek game because of her role in STC, and she also most likely got her role in Fallout: Nuka Break through Vic, because he had a big role in that show. I analysed all of her roles a few hundred pages back and it became clear she got virtually all of her VA roles through Vic and most of her other roles as well. She shits on him through liking the most vile shit all day, yet still owes him her success. Let that sink in.

Shane did admit that he did things at conventions that wouldn't be acceptable today. Kneon from Clownfish TV claims to know that lots of shady shit went down at anime conventions.

The entire industry has lacked professionalism and now this case might bring everything to light.

He probably is one of the few that are actually watching in pain and horror as the anime community is tearing itself apart. And perhaps is blaming himself for not being able to peace keep, or perhaps not addressing this sooner. We don't know how long he knew about this, but was intimidated into silence by the bigger parties in this. It's a truly problematic position to be in. Do you basically speak up and likely nuke your career or do you try and mediate things so people and hope things will calm down. From an viewer perspective, that's a very difficult choice to make. It's easy for us kiwis to commentate on it, it's another to try imagining yourself in their shoes. It's a fucked situation no matter what you choose to do.
