Imagine finding a shiny in the wild area but you cant get it due to not having enough gym badges due to them being over your level cap

One thing I noticed in the bit and pieces I caught of the stream was how abrasive the little "found an item" jingle is. It made me uncomfortable every time the player picked up an item, which was unfortunate because during the short time I was watching they found several. It felt like the game was mad and wanted the player to feel bad. From everything the leaker has show everything about how the game sounds is so unsatisfying, the music, the menu sounds being piercingly loud, the sound mixing, like sound design is important to making a game feel great and it just fucks it up. Call it nitpicking but when I need to mute your game due to how bad your music is I consider that a fuck up.
Nintendo Ninjas finally killed the channel. Anybody got an archive of the stream? I'm curious if the numerous graphics errors were fixed or if we still have shit like floating walls and arm bands phasing through trainers' arms.https://www.smashcast.tv/ak2007
new steam everyone!
because quality control doesn't exist when you are a small indie dev pls understando
some of the menu scrolling was like that too, its seems too high pitched then it usually is, it's ear gratingOne thing I noticed in the bit and pieces I caught of the stream was how abrasive the little "found an item" jingle is. It's such a bizarre thing to screw up because it's been the same few notes every game and they've never screwed it up like this before.

He's referring to how the scene went from fishing at a dock to suddenly teleporting you to an open grassy field where there's not a drop of water in sight. Recent games have been pretty good with reflecting the battlefield in relation to where you are in the overworld so an instance like this is, strange to say the least. If you're referring to the water ripples... Those have been a thing in PKM for a while now. Those were used to indicate fishing spots in SuMo. If that's not what you're referring to... *Shrugs*.
Yes it is trueApparently, you need enough gym badges to catch certain leveled pokemon, the dude got a message saying that he could catch up to level 25, found a level 27 Sneasel, and it refused to catch it. IDK how true this is, I just read it on Reddit but if it's true, and I assume that is. That is a terrible feature, especially in the wild where over leveled pokmon are supposed to show up...
Nintendo ninjas will try but IDK if it will work to take the archive clips down they will just be uploaded elsewerehttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeiaH3IUDAiMDstqZpMKF4Q/videos
someone did us a favor and made a channel for it, best to archive everything before the Ninjas finish the job

Explain this then? Also, allow me to be a tiny bit optimistic here, even for a moment, but we do see a bridge in the background there, that could indicate a water source in the BG. Not to mention, battle areas are usually determined by the majority area - Like, is there any context to the scene in question? Like, what city is it taking place in? Is it even in a city? Or what? Before I can really say anything on that, I'd like to get more than just 25 seconds of footage in that regard.
Explain this then?
Hey don't worry about it man.edit heres the 4chan link in case the webm download was harsh, sorry if it was a hassle man just was worrying what would happen if the image 404'd so I went with the archive first
Also, we do have to remember that these games aren't out yet, any support for the games, or patches to fix small things like this (Like I said earlier, I haven't watched the streams - Is there a location where you fight on a bridge in the game?) - Again, label me as hopefully or as an idiot, feel free to, I deserve it.
The big issue with this mindset is that Game Freak does not push out patches for the games, except for when a game-breaking bug has to be fixed, because of their philosophy that when they ship out a game, it is "Complete", and also to ensure game compatibility with friends.
Yes even has a battle background(Like I said earlier, I haven't watched the streams - Is there a location where you fight on a bridge in the game?) - Again, label me as hopefully or as an idiot, feel free to, I deserve it.
Yes even has a battle background

Seems cool, always wanted to see what a 2d giant safari zone type area would be like for fan games, what is it called?Yup.
Although to be fair, if they did use the same bridge from that, you'd get people pulling the same thing again.
On a side note, and wanting to get away from this whole headache...

A while ago, I talked about a fan game - And they're working on a fan game where they're including their own version of the wild area. This is only 1/8th of it's planned size so far.
In addition: the difficulty of this area is based on scaling - based on play time in the game.
