And sorry I got the date wrong its in January 2020 not December 10. Maybe its tinfoil hat think but since Rev has/had "Kids" flash games where hes cussing like a sailor, Vinny has old Fortnite and also Minecraft videos and since Fortnite and Minecraft are targeted at kids, and the Flash games are also targeted to kids, they might have some issues with uploading streams?

Wow, this is the first I'm hearing of this. How is this even enforceable?

And yeah, it seems like they'll struggle to upload content, as their videos are decidedly not marketed toward children but feature "kids games," so they may mess up the algorithm - especially Rev because, as you said, he's the only person who regularly plays games that are explicitly targeted at children, even though he plays them to mock and criticize them toward an audience of adults.

On an unrelated note, @heavycream and anyone else interested in older streams, I just remembered this channel I stumbled on a few months ago called Vinesauce Obscurities that has uploaded some fairly old and fairly unknown streams from quite a few of the Vinesauce streamers (including Hootey! Now THAT'S a deep cut). I haven't done a thorough check, but their oldest videos seem to date back 5 or 6 years, possibly even longer than that. A lot of them are in parts, which is super annoying, but it's still a cool archive to sift through if you're ever in the mood for classic Vinesauce content.

You'd think that Vinny being well off enough to actively avoid donations and twich subscriptions, that he would help out both his band member and best friend by chipping in, if he isn't already. That shit sucks and I can see why he's so pandering to the degree he is. He's desparate and knows that if he plays the right game with his audience, he'll just make it. The only problem with that plan is that he's better off getting a job, because using the internet as a source of revenue is such a risky move with how quickly the definition of whats acceptable changes, not to mention that if you piss off anyone with the slightest remark, they have the potential to shit kick you off of whatever your using for money. It sucks, especally if you gotten use to how lax an online job is, but that's the way it is.

Its personal in that I used to be one of the older fans in the community before it went to shit, but because I have charisma (or basic social skills) I was able to get around and talk. People say fun things when you know how to butter them up lol. But the stuff going on with him right now and within his inner "clique" is not too widely known of a thing and the guy is already on the edge as is. As deserving as his mod team is of a serving of humble pie, I don't want to do something that would risk pushing the guy over the edge.
The info I've received is also not something a wide variety of people are supposed to know so if the stuff I said leaked they have a small pool of suspects to sift through, I do enjoy not being up to my neck in autism.

The only reason why I keep teasing it like a dumbass is cause this thread is comfy af and you guys are alright. I'd have a cold brewski with you all.

Sadly not, but I did stumble on that video again while trying to find the name of that channel. That video wasn't anywhere near as old as one might think; if memory serves, it's from 2014, which was around the year when Vinny started really taking off and appealing to a wider audience. Pretty crazy that he got away with that in a relatively recent stream.

Just caught up on this interesting thread. I actually was thinking the other day whenever I graduate from college and can actually spend my money on other things, I really want to for some reason help support Mike financially like on Patreon or something. I don’t even really agree with him supporting all the LGBT stuff (crucify me if you want), but he looks like a man who really struggles in his day-to-day life and he’s always seemed like a nice dude.

Ah, Young Vinny. How I've missed you.

This stream is a really cool blast from the past. It's nice to see Vinny and Joel in these older videos, when they actually did stuff with their fans and each other, and it's cool to see them playing with random people like they used to (although a few of the people in that particular video were semi-regulars to the GTA streams). I always wonder what happened with Dem, since I rarely hear anyone mention him in streams anymore, nor do I really see him participating with Vinesauce content on YouTube or even on Twitch. Did he disassociate from them, or is he still around and just keeping a low profile?

Slightly unrelated, but I'm currently 14 minutes in, and saw a familiar name in Chatango - AfroSamurai, who was known at the time (and before) for making pretty good "escape room" Flash games. (Assuming it's the same guy and not someone else using the same name.) I'm pretty sure he pioneered the genre, since, not counting old adventure games with locked room puzzles, escape room games weren't really their own thing before Newgrounds and similar sites. I don't recall ever seeing him in Chatango before, and I watched quite a few of them back then. Pretty strange to see how small the Internet really is!

No, i appreciate that too. I know that time moves on, and it's necessary to grow up to make a stable career out of streaming. But I still miss those streams in a sentimental way.

The drama with her is 100% real - she was a major part of the Vinesauce fanbase at the time, and did a lot of fanart for the streams/had a personal relationship of some kind with Vinny. If you google that handle, you can find her old formspring account where she answered some questions about the situation with Vinny (pretty vaguely, but it does confirm that it happened). To what extent she was connected to him is where the confusion comes in.

The chat log I linked was from /v/, and as you pointed out, it was supposedly debunked because of some inconsistencies with the timeline. Regardless, I definitely believe that Vinny and SgtFgt were doing the ol slip n' slide, and the fact that the logs were allegedly posted on /v/ by her makes me feel like, even if they are fake, there is truth to them. Plus, as I said sometime earlier in the thread, there's a recurring theme of Vinny being a boob guy, since in the logs he refers to himself as a "tithound" and other weird shit, while in an official Vinesauce video (the drunken CSGO one), he tells a story about a friend who nicknamed him "The Tit Doctor." Not hard proof, but definitely something to consider.

I'd be pretty interested in having someone who was more cognizant of the SgtFgt drama talk about it. I was a fan at the time so I knew that some behind the scenes shit was going down, but I was pretty young, so I didn't know where it was happening/how to find out about it. The real gag will be if SgtFgt herself rises from the murky depths and drops a bomb on everyone that it was all true and she has evidence to prove it.

As for Vinny being a lonely fuck, you're right, but at this point it seems pretty self-inflicted. He's clearly charismatic and charming, and he had a great few years looks-wise where he definitely could've gotten any nice, nerdy chick that he wanted. (He's still attractive now, but that hair... ugh.) If you saw it before, we talked for a bit about some very old forum posts Vinny made (around age 19) where he talks about sleeping with his best friend's girlfriend, and the heartbreak from that relationship is implied to be the reason why he hasn't pursued anything serious for such a long time. That's all conjecture, of course, but it's something to note.
