I was trying to avoid story spoilers at first because I was expecting something interesting, but the real twist was that there isn’t really a story at all.

And it deletes all of your other game's save datas too! Sweet baby jesus I'm glad I cancelled my fuckin' preorder, I have 300+ hours on MHGU and if I have to grind Elderfrost Gammoth even one more fucking time for the switchaxe, I'd drop nuke 3 on Gamefreak. How is the game THIS FUCKIN' HILARIOUSLY BAD?!

This is why I don't trust game freak with my pokemon in what will be their joke of a cloud service, they will proably find a way to make that end up like this as well, this is even worse when x and y bugged out it's saves
 
I'm playing this on loop because there comes a point where all you can do while viewing an absolute disaster of this caliber is to laugh like a goddamn madman.

This happened with smash too, the cause was knockoff amazon SD cards. It might be that again.

Of course XY could brick your 3DS, so it might just be Gamefreak being Gamefreak.

at least X and Y was limited to lumiose city, this seems to be able to happen randomly due to auto save allegidly, plus X and Y only effected X and Y not the entire console
Apparently its only happening to japanese eshop players but oh god if the japanese don't already have enough reason to be mad at this shit

Could you imagine Gamefreak somehow fucking up the data banks of Pokemon Home?, and losing terabytes worth of data? millions of pokemon from thousands of users all around the world, gone, such an event would probably drive the company right into the ground

pkhex is essentially dead on switch, sword and shield force reverts any dns changes you have while its running. insta ban.

Can't you just abuse the save feature by backing up your shit on an SD card before you trade and then just put all your rare shit on the trading area as a way of making ultra legendaries and other shit extremely common?
