Putting aside how awkward the comic's dialogue is to read, not saying anything about its character placement (seriously, that orange haired doctor looks like she just popped out of nowhere, you could have at least thrown in a door or something Mikalia!), or how utterly generic the scientists look, this raises another huge question.
Why the hell don't they use blood from a Kirlia or Ralts?
To be fair to Lily, it is a semi-misconception in the Pokemon universe, but a Pokemon Lv. or evolutionary stage does not equal its age. A pokemon could live it's entire life, go through Poke-puberty, have kids, the works and never move past it's first stage simply because it didn't battle or train frequently. Even in the games most Pokemon in their first stage can have kids without evolving with only a handful of exceptions. There is no reason why a Kirlia or a Ralts (like the one that was just picked up) couldn't be used for this "cloning" BS. In fact, in Universe/ The Games you can revive a Pokemon from a fossil via cloning, and the Pokemon being cloned is, in fact, in it's first stage.
Sorry I went off there, but as a long-time Poke'fag, seeing Lily's utter disregard for the franchise that she's basing her comic in is just baffling. I honestly thing that's the worst part.
You want to make a comic revolving around the sexual tension between your self-insert and your fictional mary-sue monster waifu, fine, there are worse things on the internet. But at least try to care at least a little bit about the franchise you're using as a proxy for your own shitty fan-fiction, or at the very least don't act like a god damn jack-ass when people call you on your BS, Lily would honestly garner a fraction of respect from me if she'd just admit this was just wish fulfillment fan-fiction. But as we all know, he thinks Gardevoir and his self insert are actually extremely well written characters despite just doing the comic "for fun" and not caring too much about it's quality...which is a solid example of Lily's ego when I type it out.
