I can't understand what appeal this comic should have
The wikia has some pages of lore that she never went through in the comic, and if it is already mentioned is a miracle, which makes it completely useless (just like she looks at lore and backstory in general, which is ironical)

This story doesn't seem to be produced by a pokemon fan as there is nothing that makes the pokemon universe unique: battles, adventures, exploration, capture, research into their habit, competitions in perfomance and so on.

the only thing remotely from the universe would be the daycare interactions and activities, but for the most part it treats the pokemon (mostly G) as humans in a sitcom with the only things connecting the universes would be Gardevoir's egdy heacannons

comicLily was already a league enforcer who hunted those who mistreated pokemon and in this universe has criminal organizations with pokemon sex trafficking and will have an arc where they choose a new home?

Lily has already said that the only thing that matters in the games is Gardevoir and nothing more, and the drama ideas are all about Lily teaching how a healthy and cute relationship is despite all her history of interacting with people she disagrees with.

I'm just waiting for the next idea to spice up the melodrama
blow up in her face and she spend weeks explaining why it was competently realistic and justifiable

The biggest problem with this comic is that it has no direction. The biggest problem with this comic is that it has no direction. I get that it’s slice of life, but Jerry wants to have his cake and eat it too by hyping up events that change the status quo and big epic events and complex character histories and backstories (for characters who have never appeared).

Admittedly, that post was more flippant than actual truth. I'm not really familiar enough with his old videos to know that he apparently used to like SU at some point, but even if it is true and now that I do know, I'm not gonna go back on what I said. What makes Jerry a lolcow is how absurdly resistant to change he is, but even someone like him can be forced to change if it's irrelevant enough and there's enough evidence. Hazbin Hotel, though, hasn't forced any sort of change. For all Jerry talks about the psychology of creators, it's not like he actually cares that he was called out. He cares that the show made him feel good when he saw a cute girl, everything else is supplemental. Until the show starts offending his personal sensibilities, at which point he'll claim everything about it was always awful, he'll say it's good.

I don't see Pizza Party Podcast completely on the right side as many of the criticism comments are so shallow and misleading, an example is their view of highsight that seems a little bit bitter about criticizing since fixing these problems in the narrative is the function of multiple redrafts, and as they imply that the size of the video is a flaw that deserves to be ridiculed for having a lot of free time, but being a fan of Mauler I know this is a fallacy

I understand that Lily is not someone you want to be seen agreeing in public, but the critics have to be more substantial than the size and tone of the videos since I have to admit not all points of SU video are invalid

The length of the video itself is a valid criticism even if the reasoning they gave was stupid. Lily has valid complaints in the sense that they’re criticisms other fans have had, the problem is that there’s so much padding (the Star Wars tangent for one) and bad faith arguments that the point is ruined; if she focused on the valid points and cut out the fluff, you’d have a much more concise 30 minute video ala Robobuddies or Uncivilized Elk.

When the podcast made fun of Mr Enter he reached out and told them how it made him feel, and pointed out how some of their criticism applied to them as well. As such they all apologized and treated the whole situation like Adults.

They will find no such courtesy with Lily.
