Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

So IGN is really scrambling after being caught blatantly lying to readers about their 9.3 score. This is eye gougingly painful to read. There is no way, in any dimension, that Sword & Shield takes 40+ hours to complete the main story. There no way they didn't notice the huge list of graphical errors going on in the game. It seems they are doubling down on the models being new, then saying it doesn't matter anyway. This has to be the most pathetic article I've ever read, you'd think they'd at least shut up about they're fake reviews.

I am more shocked that people still think IGN is still relevant source of video game reviews. They are second to the Spike Video Game Awards for being industry sponsored cucks.

I'm more shocked that IGN takes itself seriously. The original review read like it was written by an 12 year for the middle school paper.

So how good is the story? Because Team Plasma PETA was kind of good the first time around, even if it was a lie. And there's the boneheads from Team Skull.
Kinda fucking retarded. But its doesnt take that much time.

I think I'll buy the sequel...or that mecha game that's been floating around.

60 bucks isn't exactly worth it.
If you're talking about Daemon X or whatever, it's pretty fun. I skipped all of the story cutscenes because it was way too anime and exceptional for me so that made the game much shorter than intended, but there's a decent amount of content and customizing your mech is and watching it shred shit is exactly as fun as it should be

Two things. First of all apparently a fucking cursor appears during the credits (around the 1 minute mark here). I've looked at multiple uploads of the credits and it's consistent throughout, so no ThE hAcKeRs DiD iT excuse.

Secondly, this.

For anybody who has trouble spotting it, keep your eyes on Rillaboom's back.

considering modding for switch has already gotten pretty busted, Project P for sword and shield adding everything back in when?

It just goes to show how much of a dumb mush mouth I am that I was trying to make fun of GF graphic artists because of how disjointed her hand is, but instead came across like I'm salivating over Pokemon waifus. Which would be degenerate.

Everyone knows the best waifus are in Fire Emblem.

The only fucking armored unit to get utterly OHKO'd by a bow

She and Makalov deserve to be dead in every playthrough

I'm really just waiting for the inevitable Crystal/Emerald/Platinum variant or sequel to fix the dumb bullshit at this point, this shit isn't worth 60 bucks.
They haven't done a singular third version since Platinum, and that was 10 years ago, I think releasing two new variants every year is more beneficial to them

I really hate that BW2 made that normal, BW2 had point to it since the first two games had differences that kinda impacted the plot but I really miss when games like platinum or emerald would make a GOTY style collection of both versions. Hell I even miss when HGSS included the Crystal content since ORAS shafted emerald into making only the delta episode really have anything to do with it.

Apparently all the Pokemon, items and moves - even ones not in the game - are in the code for Sword and Shield.

this game is a complete rushjob
if the Pokemon from outside regions are still hand picked why have the category difference?
there's no way the dex cut wasn't an 11 hour decision

Makes me wonder if Gamefreak seriously thought it could shit something out in 6 months because that's how sprite games worked.

I see no new articles on the sales of the game post launch. Would be interesting to see if they had a noticeable decline.

I've seen reports that it's already outsold Let's Go's 3 million sales in the same timeframe and that (unfortunately) the ludicrously expensive double pack in particular has sold stupidly well. But the two things to remember are that A, two versions as always so that's "cheating" (especially with the double pack BS that idiots have clearly fallen for) and B, the initial games of a generation always outsell secondary/remake installments by default so that's really not saying much. We're not going to see how well it will truly do when stacked up to its past gen contemporaries until after the holiday season clusterfuck is over.

But given how plenty of morons are already calling it "The best games in the series" (fucking what?) I don't have high hopes for bad sales performance (in terms of Pokemon standards) in an capacity.
