I haven't been following this saga and I am about as unempathetic to the plight of troons generally speaking as you can be without, you know, looking for them on the street and beating the shit out of them, but I have to say there's a chance he has a point here. Most of the trans people that I have met (which would mean people from the NYC club/underground party scene about 10 years ago) were actually minorities of of one description or another. And most of them put in a good amount of effort I in appearing to be waman have to say. Not that most of them were passable in a strict sense of the word (although a couple of them that I remember actually were alarmingly attractive as "women") but they clearly were putting more effort into it than a lot of people do at their fucking jobs. Despite giving precisely zero fucks about the ontological claims of men to be women there is something about that I have to respect. The ">2019 >angry white men in dresses" comment feels pretty accurate as a contrast.
