Geez...For the amount of sperging he does about Godzilla, he doesn't seem to understand the concept behind the character at all, or how the movies change depending on the decade. Buh.

I was just thinking that! Juno is actually a very positive portrayal of adoption, as it features the child of an unwanted teen pregnancy being taken in by a woman who actually wants him. That's pretty much adoption at its best. On the other hand, Mommie Dearest is about a deranged adoptive parent mentally, physically, and emotionally abusing the children she adopted. What's more, it's revealed that she adopted them partially due to the good publicity it would give her.
Then again, Mommie Dearest is infamous for being incredibly over-the-top and campy, to the point where it's become a "so bad it's good" movie and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who takes it seriously.

One thing I've been trying to understand---what's up with his preoccupation with having kids? I mean, I'd like to have children, & I'm sure a bunch of others do, too, but with Connor it almost seems like something he feels he needs to do. Maybe he has to find his sweetheart & lose his much-hated virginity & bring his god-called daughter Connie Weston Bible into the world because he won't be a grown-up until he does? Or is he afraid of the Bible bloodline dying with him?

I like how Connor assumes that just because he's a selfish asshole, that means everybody is a selfish asshole and anyone who is genuinely kind is faking it.

It's interesting that if he never has a child his branch of the family bloodline will die. There will never be a genetic decedent of the Bible & Whatever his mothers maiden name is. He has a half brother with Bible blood but that's not the same line. It's the better line.
Since we had discovered Connor's long-hidden best friend I thought I would do a collection of Bonus Posts about him tied in with the Toho series. This is the so-called best friend that Connor has for years called a "fucking idiot" and an "even bigger lolcow than me".
Except, guess what? Connor's so-called "best friend" is a pleasant (albiet spergy) young man who gets along with the other posters on a website about Godzilla. He role plays Godzilla stuff and talks about movies and acts like anyone else on a forum full of people dedicated to talking about Godzilla. He doesn't scream about adoption (on a forum discussing a giant monster that breaths radiation) and he doesn't argue with mods who won't let him complain about his mother (on a forum about a giant monster that is really a man in a rubber suit). He certainly doesn't whine about writers block concerning non-Godzilla related projects (on a forum dedicated to the discussion of a monster that fights a giant moth).
Look at this! Connor's barely functioning friend, who he has derisively referred to as a "Jesus freak", is saying he doesn't agree with homosexuality but he won't let his judgement cloud his enjoyment of meaningless games online with friends.
Connor's friend is like... bizarro Connor. He's the cheerful and productive Connor, the one who is agreeable and wants to have fun with his friends.
I want KaijuX to join the forums I think he'd be a lot nicer than what we've currently got.

Man, what a truly awful excuse for a person. This fggt is sickeningly upbeat, seems to have a downright nasty sort of pleasantness to him, and to top it all off he's fucking mature enough to have earned himself a position of power with responsibilities in a community that respects and trusts him.
